If Israel became a Muslim majority country, it certainly could destroy Israel. Muslim-majority countries don't have a very good track record when it comes to how they treat Jews.

no...I was talking about a nationality.....split the other things up any way that takes your fancy.

Unless Jewish is now a nationality????


Basically son, all modern democracies should be the land of its citizens, the Home of its citizens...it should resist the categorisation of its citizens rather than enshrine it.


you will come to understand this one day....

Keep pretending you don't know "Jewish" is an ethnicity The Fool. Your understanding of this comes and goes depending on what's convenient, doesn't it?

Maybe you'd feel better about it if Israel was named "Jewland" instead, like England, Ireland, and France?

Do you think citizens of those countries who aren't ethnically English, Irish, or French are 2nd-class citizens?

You might even want to look at their immigration policies... :boggled:

so what if its a religion, ethnicity or paint colour...

a nation should be the nation of its citizens....not a subgroup of its citizens, no matter how you define the subgroup.

OK...what actions by israel would you support that would prevent "demographic destruction"?

So you also have issues with Ireland, England, Scotland, etc? What about citizens of those places that aren't ethnically Irish, English, or Scottish?

Not allowing 5 milllion hostile Palestinian "refugees" into the country, as ought to be obvious.

This is exactly why it's important to Israel that the PA recognize it as a Jewish state, and why the PA resists such recognition. They want to leave open the prospect of a war with Israel after they get their own state. The Hamas leader said just last year that their goal was a Palestinian state which includes all of what is now Israel and that it will be Jew-free. Presumably after Hamas "carries out god's will" and kills the Jews.

You know Hamas? The guys who were elected by the people of Gaza and were recently welcomed into the PA?

I can't imagine why this would be a sticking point with Israel... :rolleyes:

I don't care what a nations Citizens ethnicity are....this is an issue that you find important but I don't.

A nation should be the nation of its citizens, the home of its citizens. I think you agree with this..... except for one exception?

ok....thats fine. I wouldn't support Israel being required to accept 5 million refugees either. To be honest, the numbers I have seen seriously proposed are significantly less than that.

what of the Non Jewish citizens in Israel? What numbers are they allowed to breed up to?

You'd have a point if Israel wasn't a nation of all its citizens... but as it turns out it is.

No, but seriously, in the long term, the only solution is to make peace with it's neighbors. Unfortunately, it's neighbors don't seem to want peace. They want the Jews gone.

Frankly, it's probably a losing proposition in the end without drastic measures. I hope it doesn't come to that. A lot can change over time, but the hatred of Jews by Muslims in the ME goes back a long way, since way before Israel was formed.

If their Muslim neighbors are hell bent at getting rid of Israel, they can do so. It'd just take time. They haven't shown any signs that they won't just wait it out.
