So someone's hacked into Weiner's photo archive and is publishing them. Sounds like a criminal issue here. Hopefully Breitbart and company will be punished for this.
As it's not just a matter of personal embarrassment, but a CRIME, Weiner needs to register a complaint with law enforcement.

We wouldn't want him to pervert the course of justice, would we?

Do we get to see the pictures she sent him? Pretty please.

I mean, if the women get to see those rocking pecs, surely we should get to see whatever assets she was sending right? Or are only the pictures of the Congressman subject to public scrutiny?

This is probably the reason he didn't want to sue or press chargers; he knew there were pictures out there verifiable as him.

Wait a minute, you're not sticking with the notion that he didn't send the first tweet, are you? Because, assuming he did, the reason he didn't sue or press charges is pretty obviously not because of these other photos.

And again, we're left with, so what?

Do you really think this will blow over without substantial political repercussions for Weiner? He might have gotten away with the initial tweet if he had just come clean. But he lied to reporters about what happened. That's not a crime legally. But politically it's suicide.

Over/under on Weiner's tearful resignation: Two days. And I'll take the under.

I don't know anything about this Vitter person, but I'm sure you'll confirm for me that he was arrested, charged, found guilty and sentenced for breaking the law? Cheers.

No, he wasn't. The scandal broke after the statute of limitations had expired, so that was not an option.

Indeed, it's definitely a crime, and it should be treated as such. You're completely correct.

Hopefully Breitbart and company will be punished for this.

I'm sure they will be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Just as soon as Weiner informs the FBI that he's been hacked.

Additionally, you and many others, myself included, may be able to overlook these photos and shrug them off - but I don't think that's how it's going to play out with the general public.
I'm not so sure, but we may never know. If the story JohnnyG posted turns out to be true, that'll more likely be what does him in.

He is still a low-life and one sick puppy. The boy aint got all his headbolts torqued right.

If you are not calling for him to step down, where do you come off screaming for Weiner's head behind what is clearly normal heterosexual behavior?

There is also the fact that he does not want to give the sludge monster any actual access to political stuff. He isn't entitled to it, it serves no public purpose, it may be harmful to the interests of the nation if the sludge monster sees some of it, and the sludge monster probably did it specificly to gain access to sensitive material.

Anything that can be kept out of his slimy paws should be.

He did something really sleazy? When? Where?

If Diapers Vitter is drummed out of the GOP, you all have a reason to think that Weiner should.

Weiner called for a press conference at 4 PM EDT. I'm willing to bet this goes one of two ways:

1) "I've made mistakes, and I'll get past them," or
2) "Bye everybody"

<> screaming for Weiner's head behind what is clearly normal heterosexual behavior?

Potentially cheating on your wife and sending suggestive/lewd photos to other women via various social media is normal hetero behavior ?

I guess maybe it's not 'abnorma'l behavior, but I don't think it falls under what most people consider 'acceptable' behavior.

I don't have a link to it, but Breitbart actually walked up unannounced before the presser and has been speaking about the whole story and apparently said he deserves a personal apology from the press or something?

I haven't followed this story very closely, but why is this a problem? Did he do something illegal?

1) Weiner installs tweetdeck on his new ipad 2.

2) He is sitting around in his underwear getting ready or actually watching his tivo'ed hockey game

3) He is playing with his ipad while watching the hockey game, and uses the rear camera ( which btw, tacks 800x600 resolution photos, same res as the photo in question) and aims it downstream and snaps the alleged pic

4) thinking he is tweeting a pic just to the girl, he sends it

5) he then tweets about the tivo eating his hockey game

6) he then looks at his twitter stream and realizes the pic went to his public twitter stream

7) he tweets that his twitter and FB are hacked, his toaster is still loyal - and deletes all his yfrog pictures.

Boom :-)

Yup. Picture is of him, and he sent it. Any conspiracy theorists want to go on?

Says he will not resign; good luck with that.

Senator David Vitter (R-LA) patronized prostitutes and likes to wear diapers, and he just got reelected last year. I don't see why Wiener will have to resign.

"I regret not being honest about this..."

Yeah, that was dumb. Should have just mailed the dong shot to Fox News and asked, "Ho Chi Minh have one of these?"

Pussy Galore wins again.
