You forgot No.6, LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! These conspiracist are basically arrested adolescents screaming for attention. They are all busy trying to one-up each other, coming out with increasingly whackier "theories". For instance - one will say, "Flight 11 had a pod hanging off the wing when it hit the building"! Then the next one will say, "Think that's radical? I don't think Flight 11 even existed - it was a hologram"! Controlled demolition vs thermite vs mini nukes vs space beams. Ad nauseum. There really isn't a need to do a lot of in-depth investigation into the syndrome, it affects a microscopic cross section of the population and really doesn't deserve a lot of attention.

By the way don't confuse the conspiracist with a larger and reasonable section of the population that may not be satisfied with the governments explanation of the intelligence and security failures that contributed to 9/11.

This thread is being hijacked by approximately 12 hijackers, who appear to want to discuss anything other than conspiracy psychology. This would be ok in itself if the hijackers had some explosive new testimony that would demolish the existing theories pillars of wisdom about 9/11, but sadly its about cockpits.

It is amazing how 12 hijackers can destroy a potentially fruitful discussion.

I would imagine that having a truther say (in this thread) that no one has heard the CVR, when it's well known that many have, might be some decent insight into the mind of a truther.

It's not about discussing the evidence because any and all evidence was taken away from them years ago. It's simply about keeping the discussion going so they don't slip away into irrelevancy (even though this, too, happened years ago). Why? Probably a hundred different reasons. For some, like Gage and Jones, it's to continue drawing a pay cheque. For others, its so they can "fight the man!" from the comfort of their basements. For still others, I guess they truly believe they just need to get to that one person who is on the fence to start a tidal wave of TRUTH!!!!

Oh look what I did! I did exactly what dommyboysinjapan's topic was about. I guess that proves 9/11 was an inside job!

Thanks to the multicultural zeal of 'becoming' more hip and 'with it', i.e in roman times be like the romans if you cant live in Rome yourself. So, thanks to a large and growing consumation of the english language, american media outlets and entertainment thereof, such given movements tend to migrate over, albeit in a milder form. I even noticed there are a couple of Raelian churches/temples in Sweden (allthough it's a canadian thingy isn't it?).

I've had to look over this thread twice to find the post by A W Smith that you're replying to. If you learned how to use the quote button, it might be a bit easier to figure out what on Earth you're talking about. It's at the bottom right of the post you're replying to, and all you have to do is click it with the mouse. Is that so much effort for you that you'd rather leave everyone else on the forum to have to do a search on the posts by the user you're replying to? In fact, it can't be, because it's less effort than typing the name of the member you're replying to. So could you please try to acquire some manners, and use the forum comprehensibly?

Thanks for the tip. I will use this feature from now on. Speaking of manners though, you could just offer me the suggestion rather than implying that I had "poor manners" by doing it the harder way. Clearly I never really even noticed these links or I would have used them. (There are icons all over this page.)

That would have been the polite thing to do.;)

The point was to draw a distinction between real psychology (like the Asch conformity experiments) and pseudo-psychology (like suggesting that people support 9/11 Truth because they feel a sense of comfort over this notion,) by inviting discussion. Did I force anyone on this message board to respond?

The issue of 9/11 and how it is presented to the public is a lot more important than your soap operas, or your football games.
