My argument against materialism

I do read science all the time, also I have no argument with any of its findings, I see no conflict.

It surprises me how many of the posters here take such a disparaging view of ideas beyond scientific understanding. Are you in some kind of conflict with someone?

I stated earlier on in the thread that I will use an established cosmology as a template from which to present my argument. This is hinduism I suggest you take some time to read up on it, its quite interesting notwithstanding that it considers similar aspects of reality as physics, from a different perspective. I would if I were in your shoes.

Why would you assume that we haven't read anything about Hinduism?

You need to correct your spelling of delusion, it goes more like this;

de...lusion

de...illusion

the...illusion

All is illusion

That sounds better, there is only a difference in pronunciation between us.

Are you using the ETCornGod transfer function?

The ghost at the feast was only in Macbeth's mind therefore it is not an apt metaphor. We are not back slapping,we are asking for proof. Can you point me to where the ancient Hindus spoke of black holes, quasars, magnetars, quarks and so forth?

There's that word again, I gather there is no such thing.

Beam, eye, mote, finger, moon?
Moon of course, in a tear drop.:)
Then this is the wrong thread for you, I did not name it, now did I?

Start another thread, this one picked a chip with materialism.

My argument fell through the mesh into a gap, I can state it if you like. I wont be surprised if your reply mentions something like "materialism doesn't concern itself which such speculation", or "start another thread".

Then the JREF is not for you, we all debunk each other.
What gang bang?

And I really really like the Atevi culture of CK Cherryh baji-naji and the ausipces of numbers. The mri of the Faded Sun cycle are cool too!

I also really like the Deverry cycle of Kathryn Kerr.

Th theory of mind if you want to talk about it is just fine, start another thread, there is no mind. We are all p-zombies as well.

You know your mind as well as you do your friend's, you only infer it. You have no direct experience.

I am not minded to discuss the mind right now.

We all tread the eternal way, but some are way way a head.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's okay though, we don't hold it against you; you were making such good progress in trying to catch up.

Again, I thank you for your earlier responses to my questions.
