Merged Chick Tracts

I came accross this one when I was about 12. Can you imagine what that did to a confused kid struggling with his sexual identity? "Delivers a compassionate plea to repent of homosexuality.."

Wish I had found this one instead:

Of all the Chick tracts this is the worst one. Its a graphic illustration of a fundys idea of what being gay is. The art is good but the message is bad, very bad.

Isn't that like saying the Nazis were very, very bad, but they did have stylish uniforms?

Yes, the reason the message is so bad is that it has nothing to do with the Bible's message. The sin was inhospitability, not homosexuality.

EAT: while looking for a different Chick tract mentioing homosexuality, I came across the articles on the Chick site. Ugh! They are filled with more absurd lies than the tracts themselves.

mentioning fundys and nazis in the same post makes a lot of sense. The nazis did atrocities and it can only be imagined what a fundy like this would do with dictatorial powers. Kinda like what happens in Saudi Arabia I guess.

So the TV camera man was Clark Gable, Lot was Lawrence Olivier and lots wife was Marlana Deitrick

* BEST * TRACT * EVER *!

That one's a grand slam!

LOL @ "Snookums". :D

"They went to Holland to catch a boat to America" - Didn't the Mayflower somewhat famously depart from Plymouth, England? :confused: I know that they exiled in Holland, but they came back to England to catch the boat.

And I also like Snookums and his partner's earrings!

Back in the sixties there was a movie called "The Bible: In the Beginning". My Juniors for Jesus (or whatever it was called) church group trundled us off to see it at the theater. I was 14 and pretty much already an atheist, but I had friends in the group.

The only thing I remember from that wretched piece of crap was trying to catch a glimpse of Eve's naughty bits in the Garden of Eden. What else would you expect from a 14-year-old?
