There should be absolutely no way that there is no footage from the air of the collapse of WTC7. That must mean that when the Penthouses were deliberately dropped into the building that fact was plain to see from the air. It's almost like proof you see .

No helicopter was in a position to get a clear shot at the time of its collapse.

Or they could have just been looking the other way. There was only a 16 second window for someone to notice something and tell the cameraman to get on it.

But AE it is plainly obvious that the Penthouses were deliberately targetted. Why else would the very strongest column in the building give way first ? Column 79 is said to have weighed around 350 tons in total over the 47 floors. To assume that it would give way before dozens of lighter columns did makes no sense at all.

The only real answer is that they wanted the Penthouses and what was inside them to be hidden under the rubble of the Global collapse. That's probably why there is no aerial photography of the collapse of WTC7 despite the abundance of news helicopters and the fact that they were actually expecting the collapse.

I might go with that had the Penthouses been centrally located on the building. That way there might be some chance, But considering that the Penthouses were well over to one side what you are saying would have to mean a progressive collapse a la Shy Sunder. Have a look in the video at the 1:20 mark and see if you see signs of a progressive collapse ?

Easy. The core structure collapsed before the outer walls fell, taking lower sections of wall with it at some point.
