Nitpick: the female counterpart to the Hitlerjugend was called BDM, "Bund Deutscher Mädel" (Union of German Girls).

Oh, and let's also mention the Lebensborn program here. Started as a breeding program for SS soldiers.

The leftwing Volkskrant paints a different picture while reviewing Mazowers book:

3) Hitler vertolkte veel meer algemeen gedeelde Europese sentimenten in heel het continent dan we na de oorlog onder ogen wilden zien...

4) Dat is de omgekeerde wereld, stelt Mazower: het was Hitler die inspiratie putte uit koloniale praktijken als dwangarbeid en uit de rassentheorieën die over de achterlijke volken werden gedebiteerd. Die koloniën waren er eerder dan Hitler. En in de Verenigde Staten waren zwarten dan wel geen slaven meer, maar nog steeds tweederangsburgers. Hitler was geïnspireerd door zijn latere tegenstanders.

1) Hitler wanted to copy Britain and France and build an empire with cheap labour (that can only mean the Slavs). Never heard of an extermination program under Ukrainians. A lot of them even voluntered to cooperate with the Nazis.

2) Hitler wanted to copy the British. He hated that he was stuck with Italians and Japanese, he had prefered the British as palls. :D (after The End of the American Era we are not going to make that mistake again. Britain is an anti-European country and deserves to be kicked out of Europe for ever, but not before the financial City has been dismantled).

3) Hitler was in attitude far more European mainstream than we care to admit.

4) Hitler was inspired by his later enemies. Racism was normal in these days (Churchill himself spoke only in derogative terms about these 'pickaninnies').

Yep, that was the image presented by our 'cultural' hegemon during the past decades: history for children, written by children. Pure demonization and nothing else, intended for consumption by a childish, superficial and unserious people: Americans. We can't wait until you guys flush yourself through the toilet of history (after 2:55 ! "Not all Jews are bad", on CNN!!! :D).

The Americans needed those cartoons because reality does not match with the horror stories as presented by our Anglo 'liberators'.

The BDM had a few nicknames, all puns on the intials BDM,I will just give the english versions since I don't speak German (despite having a very,very, German Middle and Last Name):
"Child by a Friend"
"Baldur, Squeeze Me" (Baldur Von Schirich was head of the Hitler Youth, which included the BDM,
"Commodities for German Men".

99% is a bit overdone, but a large majority would indeed know the correct political correct label to attach to me.
And do so when in polite company.

I predict however that a vast change in perception will occur during the coming years as multiculturalism will start to bite, as even your kosher palls seem to admit.

Not that the current British leader is concerned, far from it. After all it should be the Indian government who decides about the future of Britain, not the British themselves of course. That would be racism, and we are all glad we are not like that.

Not that Cameron's attitude is inexplicable, far from it...

And every now and then a little bit of truth comes out, even from the highest ranks of British politics (only at the end of the career of course)... Dalyell, a sort of British Paul Findley.

I guess the idea that someone of Indian descent could be as British in though and culture and someone who can trace their ancestary back to the Saxon Invasion seems to be incomprehensible to out little investigator.
By 9 11s Logic, that two US states will more then likely have Governors of Indian descent (Lousisana has one and a Sikh running for Governor of South Carolina is the heavy,heavy, favorite to win) means that Washington will soon be taking orders from New Delhi.....

I couldn't find (or translate) the first. The other two are:
"Baldur, drück mich"
"Bedarfsartikel deutscher Männer"

ETA: "Child by a friend" matches "Kind durch Freund", a nickname for the KdF = Kraft durch Freude (Strength through Joy) leisure organization. Hope you can read German, there are quite a number of funny ones in that link!
