Evidence for why we know the New Testament writers told the truth.

No but one should not go around to many threads for over a year proclaiming something that is a minority opinion as fact.
So the majority agrees that Jesus say it is okay to beat your servants.

Maybe in the Greek culture but were not talking about the Greek Culture were talking about the Jewish culture of that time.

And even your own website you brought in has the second definition as servant.

If you want to use the word slave in the future regarding the Jewish culture you should be honest and put an asterisks by it and say this is my minority opinion because the vast majority of translations use the word servant for that Jewish culture (and I will have no problem with that).
The fact that it's translated as servant doesn't make it right. As wikipedia says,
Biblically it is commonly translated as bond-servant or servant, but literally the word meant slave.

Including murdering your child?
In the Old Testament God gave people ample opportunity to repent and change. When God saw there was no hope for certain people He did what He did. I'm not sure what particular verse you are talking about. A perfect God will always make perfect actions. God gave humanity free will and that includes the freedom to sin and reject God and receive punishment if you choose. If children are killed it was probably because God knew there was no hope for that child in the sinful environment they were in. The bible says God is just. A just God would not send those children to hell.

Any evidence yet for why we know the NT writers told the truth?

And don't start counting your posts or naming presidents again!

I'm in favor of doing anything God/Christ would approve of.

Wow. What a way to show your true colors.

God approves of gang rape:

Genesis
19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.'

19:6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,

19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.

19:8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

God approves of infanticide:

Psalms
137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

God commits infanticide Himself:

II Kings
2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.

2:24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

God approves of genocide and, by implication, child rape:

Numbers
31:7 And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.

31:8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.

31:15 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?

31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. "Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves."

31:18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

God approves of incest (he must, since Lot is held up as a paragon of virtue):

Genesis
19:32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

19:33 And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

19:34 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

19:35 And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

19:36 Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.

Thanks for letting us know that you are a scary, if not a dangerous, person.

Well then if you decide to use the word slave than to be honest just put an asterisk next it and say *(9 translations use the word servant not slave)

Haha!
But a few weeks ago, I went back and translated the passage 17 times using the word slave each time.
So now, slave is the majority opinion!

(That argument by popularity is especially stupid considering that many translations were based on each others...)

If you want to use the word slave in the future regarding the Jewish culture you should be honest and put an asterisks by it and say this is my minority opinion because the vast majority of translations use the word servant for that Jewish culture (and I will have no problem with that).
If you want to engage in a critical thinking discussion on the claim made in the OP you should be honest and put an asterisk in each post and say 'this is my minority opinion because I have no credible evidence to support the OP' (and I will have no problem with that).

If like Abraham, God asked you to sacrifice (murder) your son, would you do it?

Please, DOC, for the love of your God, take an introductory course in logic.

I did- well actually it was part of philosophy 101- and I got an A.

I hope it isn't too late to get your money back.

Would you like for me to explain that?

Where does Jesus say it is OK to beat servants?

Well, He actually says that it's ok to beat slaves, but for the sake of argument, we'll call them "servants".

luke 12:47-48.
47"That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows."

Well, if you decide to reference the JEfferson bible, be sure to add an asterisk next to it and say, "*Jefferson felt the original bible needed revising as he likened it to a dung heap."

And if you decide to reference Sir Ramsay's opinion of Luke, be sure to use the asterisk and state "*He only included the non religious aspects of the bible. And indeed, modern scholars suggest that Luke may have made up stories in the bible."
