Amanda Knox guilty - all because of a cartwheel

OK. I just dug it out. The top link is for a copy of the clip from knoxarchives.


They look tense and they kiss while Raffaele continually strokes her arm. The clip is 8 seconds long and zoomed in on them. It's hard to get any meaningful sense of the context in which it happened, other than presumably some time in the early afternoon on the 1st of November.

The case hasn't been making it onto TV in the UK much over the past couple of years. During the first month after the murder, sure. Also for the week of the verdict it got a mention on the news. Aside from that the case really hasn't been covered on TV. Do you know if it has been covered much on Italian television. The US coverage, you do live in the US right, may not be representative of the case. Much of the footage I've seen posted from US news media has had a pro-Knox slant - CBS say.That may not be a very representative measure of the Italian coverage.
 
I apologize if this has been discussed in prior posts, but were Amanda or Raffaele checked for scratches or cuts on their person after being arrested?

I realize the motivations has Meredith being restrained so that might explain if there were no wounds on Amanda and Raffaele . (Wasn't there a cut on Rudy's fingers, however, it couldn't be determined the time of the cut or how it came about?)

I believe him because he has established credibility by backing up his statements whereas you have provided nothing but soap opera speculations about some sexual frisson that renders men blind in the presence of young women.

I see you moved from slandering the Italian police to slandering fellow members.
 
All the clips of them kissing after the discovery of the murder seems to come from the US media and knoxarchives, with the exception of one clip from SKY News at the time of verdict. Can anybody find a clip from the Italian media? I've been googling combinations of baciarsi "amanda knox" and baciare "amanda knox" and so on at google.it without success.

They were examined by a police doctor after their interrogations and no injuries were reported. There was however, an injury to Amanda reported by two witnesses (Laura and the police translator) of a scratch or graze (that wasn't a 'lovebite' as claimed by Amanda's family) to Amanda's neck. This can actually be seen in some photos taken of her shortly after the murder. From the old photos, we also noted an injury to her ear. This could have happened from the ripping out of an earing.

As for Rudy, there was a cut to his hand but that was photographed after his arrest, over two weeks after the murder and therefore could have happened any time in any way and could even have been self inflicted in order to support his story.

I really do not understand why all my posts are being edited out. This seems wrong when another poster is accusing someone of being drunk, and tells them to sober up. I think this is very strange. The poster I was talking to made sexist and racist comments about Italian police! There is a law against racism in my country, but not on JREF? Please someone explain this.
 
I need about a gallon of Red Wine just to make sense of the last 20 pages or so. First, I see no evidence of this attraction these investigators supposedly had for Amanda. If they thought she was cute or attractive is Mary H saying they would be harder on her or more likely to frame her or something? The exercise itself is like trying to caption a picture. You can give it a funny caption a stupid caption or a serious caption. I can't read the minds of these people by a picture. It is just a guess. The kiss is just a kiss, comfort, attraction, passion maybe. What is the point? I think it is to drink more wine.

Sometimes it can be a tough call for a Moderator to make. One has to balance the enforcing of the letter of a rule with the spirit of it.

I was not aware that the "love bite" was disputed? Do you have more information on this?

Thank you Fulcanelli.

The reason I had asked about injuries was in viewing the photos of Amanda and Raffaele (concerning a prior post about kissing), Raffaele was wearing a yellow scarf around his neck the day Meredith was found murdered and the next day or so when he and Amanda were shopping. Doesn't mean he was wearing it to hide any injuries but it's something I noticed.

Didn't Amanda write/speculate that some of the blood in the bathroom might have come from an ear piercing?

Do believe that the knife was cleaned at the cottage?

If bleach was used to clean the hall, the entire floor would have glowed from luminol.

The luminol stains found on the floor were undated stains. They had nothing to do with the murder.

The luminol testing was done long after the cottage was trashed by the investigators. Bloody gloves thrown on the floor, shoe covers tracking everything around the cottage, contaminated gloves taking blood samples in the murder room and then swabbing other areas in the cottage. It was sloppy police work.
 
Also, this from the Telegraph article I posted above is worthy of note:

Miss Mezzetti, who wore a striped shirt, chocolate-coloured sweater and khaki jeans, was asked why she had only mentioned the scratch during her sixth interview with police.

So here, it is clear that Laura had been interviewed by police at least 6 times (there may have been others after that) and Laura hadn't even been found at the crime scene, she was in Rome. So, all the fuss by some about how many times Amanda and Raffaele were interviewed in order to imply they were singled out for harsh treatment is rather spurious. All of those connected with the cottage or who were at the cottage the day Meredith was found were interviewed many, many times.
