So, what does the Tea Party stand for?

The tea party movement is about mass paranoia in certain parts of our society and the ability of politicians to exploit that paranoia.

The Tea Party Movement is an amorphous, decentralized mob by design. No leaders, no platform, just an agreement that liberals are evil and Obama shouldn’t be president. With the Tea Party, you can unite all sorts of anti-Obama haters into a political weapon, but still allow anyone in the mob to disavow any other person in the mob.

It’s a right-wing political version of Freenet.

C'mon. I count at least three posters in this thread I would consider to be at least sympathetic towards the Tea Party. Surely one of you ought to be able to answer this question definitively.

They would if it wasn't for the evil liberal media.

Easy. Take every lefty-lib viewpoint you and rest of the in-group here accept as Truth and accept the alternative.

Okay, AlBell either doesn't know anything about the Tea Party either or he would rather troll. (or ken is correct and all the Tea Party detractors have hit it on the nose.)
