Hold on, you are saying they really sometimes are deployed to do this in real life? This story made me think tice as well, but it was the photo, especially the cute health-and-safety jacket the ferret on the photo was wearing, that convinced me it was a joke.

Damn - that's an April Fool - here I was getting my hopes up for the party leaders' debate to turn into a boxing match.

The front page had a monstrosity claiming to be public art that would grace the Olympic village. I was convinced that was the AF until the misses pointed me to page 3 and the author's name.

The story must have originated with Virgin Media as they have an official press release, but as it is dated today, I am guessing it's a prank after all.
