Nope. All I have to do is claim that gods are nothing but aliens from outside the limits of what we call nature (whatever that means). And that would not even be a new sci-fi/fantasy theme...

It seems believers in anything, religion, UFO’s as space ships, Big Foot, Dowsing, 9-11 conspiracy, etc have no interest in facts that do not support their belief, and many times they think words can sum it all up and no physical proof is needed, as if that is the only real proof that is needed.

One can’t get thru a closed mind that thinks it is open.

Oh, so are you trying to debunk the "UFOs = gods" theory? Nobody else has even attempted it yet.

I have a new theory which I'm gonna run with and see if anyone can debunk it

I hypothesize that all UFOs are actually mundane objects, I will call this a belief meaning it is the new default setting, therefore if you can't prove that UFO's are Aliens or Gods then the default position from now on will be that they are all something mundane, such as

anyone care to try and debunk my belief ?
if you can't then I win because mundane objects include - human aircraft, planets, stars, atmospheric phenomena, misidentified common objects, lesser gods, etc

this of course means I will be doing away with the old UFO acronym and using a new one formed from Atmospheric Space Sightings,

UFO's are Unidentified, this is important, Space Ships are not UFO's, they have been Identified.

Spaceships to our culture are pretty mundane thesedays, so its not a UFO or a spaceship, its just A.S.S.

1. I saw an airplane. Don't know model or manufacturer. Can I labell it as an UFO?
2. I saw an airplane. Don't know if it was an Airbus or a Boeing. Can I labell it as an UFO?
3. I saw an airplane. Don't know if it was an Airbus 319 or 320. Can I labell it as an UFO?
4. I saw an airplane. Don't know if it was an a Boeing 737 700 or 737 800. Can I labell it as an UFO?

I saw anything I can't identify in the air, it is a UFO, what is hard about that.

If you can't prove they weren't gods magically creating the appearance of various planes, then yes, you can call them UFOs. And since at least one well founded, long lived theory states that "UFOs = gods", you can call them gods, too.
