I've been "programmed"?

I have recently received several emails from a person stating that Hay House (one of Browne's publishers) is trying to kill her.

In a recent email, he/she stated that, because I had mistyped his/her last name in an email to him/her, that I had most likely been the victim of a Hay House "programme" myself.

I replied that it was simply a typo, likely due to my poor eyesight, a result of my recent stroke.

He/she replied, in part, as follows:

It seems that your stroke might have been a programme. Hay House or Sylvia Browne Group or [another company] Programmers could have caused the stroke. Your eyes could have been programmed with certain colours or your physical body could have been abused via a surrogate from Hay House and the word weak for instance could be already a programme for your whole body system Mr Lancaster.

I did not know that.

Another correspondent recently theorized that my stroke was because "the angels were now blocked to"
because of the SSB site. another email (shown in another thread) said that my stroke was "God's punishment" for attacking Browne. I should run all of these diagnoses by my doctor, as "second opinions" I have received.
 
If this person believes that Sylvia Browne's life is in danger, I think you should urge them to go to the police and tell them.

I think this would be the most beneficial action, for all involved.

I was about to say something but there are no words. No words.

I know it's mean and I should be better than this but I sometimes really wonder where in the world you find people like that. One email you get is stranger, more shocking and more bizarre than the other. Really, who are these people?

I was actually quite pleased and surprised that not one Sylvia Browne fan or associate so much as mentioned your stroke even once in the whole year after you had it. I'm going have to withdraw that.

Edit: The programming thing sounds like it might be a joke. Maybe he/she was messing with you. One would hope that, anyway.

Unfortunately, this sounds a lot like that first correspondent ("programming" delusion) is just plain mentally ill. Managed schizophrenia, I'd bet.

From what RSL has written ("I have recently received several emails from a person stating that Hay House (one of Browne's publishers) is trying to kill her") it appears that the person believes that it is their own life that is in danger.

Aha - I read the sense wrong in that case. Even so, that person should bring that belief to the authorities. And if it is due to a mental illness issue, that could get them the help they need as well.

What kind of programming? My son is learning Java, maybe he can re-program you. On second thought, Dashiell has a twisted sense of humor. You probably wouldn't want him to write the program.
 
I love BASIC! That would take half a page of code in C. Probably a full page in C++.

I used to love the minimalistic way you could code BASIC on the Commodore 64 using keyword shortcuts.... eg:

The "Uk's Number One Psychic" Colin Fry's boyfriend had a stroke a few years ago (I believe they are no longer together).

I'm wondering why god 'punished' you by inflicting the stroke for not believing in Sylvia Browne, and yet he 'punished' Colin Fry's boyfriend with the same ailment.

Maybe God's a bit of a tit when it comes to consistency?

I appreciate that we've cleared this up, but since we haven't addressed how anyone could have misinterpreted it, a handy tip for the future. Take the parenthetical remark out (I'll clear some extraneous material too):

"A person stating that HH is trying to kill her".

Granted, with the reference to Browne there might be the potential for ambiguity - in which case it would seem that a request for clarification would be in order. But to only see one interpretation, and that the one that isn't there?
 
ok wow, i dont know what sounds more crazy my statements or this or this Sylvia Browne person...

god is a programmer to start with, so in theory only he could have programmed you the stroke not anyone else but hey "anything you can imagine we can already do it" ~ Boyd Bushman

Actually, I prefer adding yet another parenthetical remark:

"I have recently received several emails from a person stating that Hay House (one of Browne's publishers) is trying to kill him/her (the correspondent).
 
the questions are, why is she emailing you this(given you don't have a current personal/business relationship or friendship or a common interest to stop Sylvia Browne, even a shock tactic since she ended it with 'Mr Lancaster') and have they informed the authorities.
