Come on guys, let's take this seriously. Let's think of a real answer to Parky's question. If high school Truthers turn out to be right, what are you going to tell your grandkids about your role in letting the President get away with murder?
To me, none of this thought experiment would change anything. Truthers would still have been wrong. And they would only have themselves to blame.
If it turns out that 911 was an inside job, the Truthers that you and I know, Dr. Steve, Dicky G., Tony Z., they would all still have beeen wrong. Dr. Steve babbles on about thermite. So 911 was an inside job; there is no way on Earth that it was thermite. Dr. Judy tells us that Star Trek is real. So 911 was an inside job; there was no way on Earth it's a giant ray gun in space.
If 911 really was an inside job, Truthers should have done a better job of finding evidence than babbling on and on and on about rivers of molten steel, buildings falling into their footprint, freefall collapse, and explosions in the basement. Perhaps if they had done proper...what's that word they use...'research', they would have found evidence that would convince more than just high school students and mental health out-patients.
Maybe you're right and Dick Cheney paid the hijackers or something like that. Then why is Dr. Steve still going on about thermite, even after he's denied it could be responsible for the WTC collapse? If it was a suicide attack, why is Dicky G. still touring the world with his traveling medicine show?

How is this strange exactly? Suicide bomber's incentives usually reside in their families being rewarded for the shahid actually committing the act. If they chicken out, a few of their family members die, if not all.

It's more than 50 years since the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. Has any credible FDR-LIHOP evidence come to light?
There will always be 9/11 inside job conspiraloons. They will have no more evidence for their theories in 50 years than they do now.

).I don't think so. Because of all the different aspects of the OCT that have never made sense, 9/11 conspiracy has taken off much faster than any of the previous examples given. It's a whole different animal. Even here at JREF it's given it's own subforum. JFK or Pearl Harbor were never as big just a few years after the event.
In years to come anyone who proclaims the official narrative is the absolute truth on 9/11 will be a laughing stock outcast just for pretending to know as much. Just like anyone today who still clings to McCarthyism like ideals.

A total lie. A week after the JFK assassination, 20% of Americans believed the U.S. gov't did it. 8 year later, 911 truth hasn't even approached such numbers.
eta: and I should note, the JFK assassination was before the Internet, so "alternative ideas" like conspiracy theories were much more difficult to circulate. Those who heard JFK CT's were likely to believe in them. 9/11 conspiracy theories have reached a far greater audience and they've been rejected by the vast majority of their target audience. Back in the 60's, people with fat wives (like HI) didn't have their delusions spoon fed to them by YouTube videos.

I am a pilot, an engineer, a USAF officer on active duty on 911; I find your lies and delusions to be a product of willful ignorance. I made an oath which protects your right to spew lies in the USA, and I was prepared to defend that right. I found the doltish ideas spewed by Charlie Sheen about some fantastic maneuver was a product of his complete ignorance on flying and more. After checking the facts I found the entire 911 truth movement to be nonsense.
50 years from now only those who are ignorant will support the ideas you freely post, ideas that are delusions. Nothing will change. Knowledge will cure those who fail to understand 911 is they try to gain it. What is stopping you from gaining knowledge? Are you selling lies on DVD like Balsamo, or taking donations to spread lies like Gage?

My obsession is hiding in my hobbies, which are running now, the center speaker 5'x17"x21" quad amp 7 drivers (10",8",6",tweeter), left and right speakers (2x10",8",tweeter) quad amp 4 driver with AR9 surrounds, and a 12inch XXL sub woofer. My amp has 12 channels, now that is an obsession; you need a manual to setup my stereo... Growing apples is more of an obsession than 911 for me; are you projecting here?

The 9/11 subforum was made because Truthers were cloaking up the other boards with tons of threads everyday. The 9/11 sub-forum here is nothing more that a testament to how loud the TM is not how important they are.
