KSM Conspiracy Charges Analyzed and Debunked

So who drives it for you Rolf?

Rolf Lindgren, vice chairman of the Libertarian Party of Wisconsin, was sentenced to five months in Dane County jail Friday following his fourth drunken driving offense.
Lindgren pleaded no contest in February to drunken driving, driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration and driving with a revoked license. But he also pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect, prompting a jury trial that in November found he was not suffering from a mental disease when he was arrested in Middleton in 2003.
Dane County Circuit Judge Richard Niess ordered Lindgren to report to jail on Jan. 30.

This has been my sweet ride since I passed out of the wheel and hit a tree at 40 mph back in '99.

I had to choose between drinking or driving....I chose drinking!

Because you accuse innocent Arabs of terrorism.
I have done no such thing.

I wrote an article oj the Internet, your logic doesn't follow.
Yes an article in which you claim to show evidence for why KSM is innocent. Thus you should at least send his defense team an email linking to your article to ensure that they have all the information to see that he goes free. If you don't, then one can only conclude that you don't care if innocent people are jailed or that you are lying in your article.

Do you have any intelligent comments about the article?
Yes. You should send KSM's defense team a link to your article.

So are you going to send the defense team a link to your debunking?

I think this may be as close to an admission that "this information is utterly useless outside of the Internet" as anyone will get from any truther... ever.

Moussoui is not on trial here. He was conmvicted in a Stalinistic show trial on charges unlrelated to 9/11.

Now the feds have played the shell game again & Binalshibh is the new 20th hijacker of the month.

Wait...What? He had nothing to do with 9/11, but yet, lots of evidence that CAME from the events of 9/11 were used to convict him.

Respect the rule of law here Twoofie. He was convicted, he is guilty, as this is what the law has said.

"reason of mental disease or defect"

Exactly what mental disease or defect rolf?
You MUST TELL THE TRUTH,after all truthers cannot lie!

Drunk Driver Continues Assault on Activists

4 Times Convicted Drunk Driver Rolf Lindgren Continues Assault on 9/11 Truth Activists
Disgraced former Libertarian Party operative Rolf Lindgren, who pleaded not guilty due to mental defect before being convicted for his fourth drunk driving offense, is continuing his muddled assault on free speech, critical thinking and 9/11 truth activists. Apparently enraged that the activist site truthaction.org refuses to censor legitimate criticism of his boss Kevin Barrett in its open forum, Lindgren has resumed his campaign of disinformation against the organization which is best known for spreading truth activism around the world with its promotion of simultaneous street actions on the eleventh day of every month. Barrett, who was recently in the news after being arrested for domestic abuse, apparently has no problem with Lindgren carrying out his reckless behavior in Barrett's name. Previously, Lindgren was caught red-handed spreading lies about both truthaction.org and 911blogger.com.

Political Prosecution in Wisconsin?

My most recent discovery came on alt.politics.libertarian, where there were two postings about the news that theft charges against a Dane County libertarian activist were dropped.

This may not seem newsworthy to most. The amount of the alleged theft was only $50. But the person arrested was, at the time, spearheading a recall campaign against Wisconsin's Democratic governor. Dane County is well-known as a Democratic stronghold. (It includes the state capital, Madison, and the University of Wisconsin's principal campus.) The arrest was a transparent effort to silence a political dissident. This should come as no surprise. Despite its Progressive traditions, Wisconsin is the home of Senator Russ Feingold, whose name appears on legislation he sponsored (though he probably did not read it), which is designed to suppress political speech.

Here's what was reported in The Capital Times, a Madison daily:

A theft charge against Libertarian Party leader Rolf Lindgren of Middleton were dropped today, but Lindgren remains unhappy about the prosecution of the case.

Lindgren was charged with stealing an apron, apparently with tips from a waiter in it, from the Irish Waters bar and restaurant in November 2003.

The case was scheduled for jury selection today and trial on Wednesday, but Assistant District Attorney Jay Mimier moved to dismiss the case at the last moment, a move that did not placate Lindgren.

After Dane County Circuit Judge David Flanagan ordered the case dismissed, Lindgren spoke up and said: "The prosecutor in this case has known since the beginning of this case that I didn't commit this crime. I'd like you to ask the prosecutor when he realized that I didn't commit this crime."

Lindgren also insisted that the government pay his legal fees, which had added up to thousands of dollars over the past year and a half.

A news release issued on Lindgren's behalf through the Libertarian Party of Dane County reveals why this was a political prosecution:

Loan Officer Rolf Lindgren won his criminal case today in Dane County court. This morning, just before jury selection was to begin, Prosecutor Jay Mimier asked to dismiss the charge against Lindgren. Lindgren had been charged with stealing $50 from the Irish Waters Restaurant/Tavern in November, 2003.

The Lindgren team and the state have a video of a different person stealing the $50.

* * *

The case began on November 26, 2003, with the false-arrest of Rolf Lindgren, who was subjected to a brutal, two-hour interrogation. Just two days earlier, on November 24, 2003, Lindgren had filed papers with the State Elections Board regarding the Recall of Governor Jim Doyle. Because of the arrest, the Doyle Recall did not move forward.

The arrest occurred the night before Rolf Lindgren's scheduled on-camera interview for the documentary movie 'A Remarkable Man', a movie about the life of Ed Thompson. Because of the arrest, the movie interview was postponed.

The arresting officer, Craig Knutson, had approached Rolf Lindgren earlier in the year, in February, 2003, at the Harbor Athletic Club in Middleton. Knutson asked Lindgren dozens of questions about what the Libertarian Party believed in. The person who claimed to be a victim in the case, former Irish Waters waitress Vanessa Wheaton, waited on customer Lindgren in October, 2003. Lindgren was wearing a RecallDoyle.com T-shirt that evening. Lindgren testified under oath regarding the case in October, 2004. No state witness has testified under oath.

At the hearing this morning, Rolf Lindgren asked Judge Flanagan for the state to pay Lindgren's legal fees which are now several thousand dollars. The state has known since day-one that Lindgren did not commit this crime. The state intentionally ran up Lindgren's legal fees during the past 17 months.

Judge Flanagan denied Lindgren's request without giving a reason. Judge Flanagan said it was "unusual" for a defendant to speak to him directly in court. A potential false-arrest lawsuit is under consideration.

The better question is have you tried to hide behind the fact you claimed to be insane to beat the charges. The jury wants your money, not to pay for your mental issues. Did they lock you up to keep the roads safe?

You claimed to be insane, the jury said you were not so they could charge you fully and not let it slide.

Why is KSM happy to confess and not hide behind insanity like you are?

WHO IS SUSPECTED THIEF ON BAR VIDEOTAPE? THE MAN ACCUSED IN THE CASE BEFORE THE CHARGE WAS DROPPED IS OFFERING A REWARD TO FIND OUT.

Dee J. Hall Wisconsin State Journal | Posted: Thursday, May 5, 2005 12:00 am

Libertarian Party activist Rolf Lindgren has racked up thousands of dollars in legal bills defending himself from a misdemeanor charge that he stole $50.

Now he's willing to spend $50 more to find out: Who was that guy in the videotape?

Lindgren, of Madison, was charged in 2003 with stealing $50 from Irish Waters, 702 N. Whitney Way. The case was based on statements by two employees of the bar and restaurant that Lindgren was the person on a videotape taken the night of the theft.

The video showed a man leaving Irish Waters late on Nov. 20, 2003, with a black apron tucked under his arm, reportedly with $50 in tips in the pocket. Six days after the video was taken, when Lindgren came into Irish Waters, one of the employees pointed to him as the man on the tape.

A Madison police officer said in his report that although no one saw the apron being stolen, the two employees were "adamant" that Lindgren was at Irish Waters the night of the theft. Lindgren said he was home alone. After a lengthy interview with Madison police, Lindgren was written a ticket for theft.

Lindgren, a 42-year-old loan officer, insisted from the start it wasn't him. He has posted the photos on the Web site, www.rationalreview.com, offering a $50 reward to find out who's on the videotape.

Lindgren said the case initially may have been based on mistaken identity, but the trouble was compounded when Madison police and the prosecutor refused to believe it wasn't him on the tape. Last week, without explanation, Assistant District Attorney Jay Mimier dropped the theft charge just as the case was about to go to trial. The charge was dismissed without prejudice, meaning it could be refiled.

On Wednesday, Dane County District Attorney Brian Blanchard said his office pursued the case "in good faith." He initially said the dismissal of the theft charge was part of a plea deal involving a drunken driving case against Lindgren. Blanchard later corrected himself, saying there was no plea deal and that the charge was dropped so Mimier could focus on the drunken-driving case, in which Lindgren has pleaded not guilty.

Blanchard added that it would be unfair to publish a story about the case without talking to Mimier, but Mimier didn't return messages left at his office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lindgren's attorney, John Hyland, said he's glad the matter was put to rest.

"I certainly agree with the decision to dismiss," Hyland said. "I think it should've been done a long time ago."

Hyland said Lindgren has a "tiny resemblance" to the man in a "very, very fuzzy picture" that had been posted at Irish Waters. But if you watch the surveillance tape, Hyland said, "The person doesn't look like him at all, in my opinion."

Mimier offered to drop the theft charge if Lindgren would plead guilty to his fourth drunken-driving charge, which was issued on the same evening police questioned him about the stolen apron. Lindgren was arrested after retrieving his car from Irish Waters and driving to a convenience store, where a clerk contacted the police because he believed Lindgren was drunk.

Lindgren said he refused to plea bargain because, "If I did that it would look like I just got away with ... theft." He denied, under oath, stealing the apron during an Oct. 1, 2004, hearing in his drunken-driving case.

Lindgren said the most compelling evidence that he isn't guilty is that the man on the tape clearly has a full head of hair, while Lindgren said he's been losing his hair since he was 16.

"(Police) should've been able to tell it wasn't me on the video. (The person on the tape) doesn't really have thinning hair on top. I do," he said.

Lindgren has his theories about why he was prosecuted, mostly revolving around the unpopularity of some of his Libertarian views and his efforts in 2003 to recall Gov. Jim Doyle.

But, said Lindgren, "It doesn't really matter why they did it. What really matters is that they did do it. If I were a black person, I'd be charging racism. What are they saying, All white people look alike?'"

Hyland believes the two witnesses simply made a mistake because they recognized Lindgren from earlier visits to the bar and restaurant. He added that the pile of legal bills may be, unfortunately, the price of justice for Lindgren.

When you're wrongfully accused, Hyland said, "You're just out that (money). There's no recourse in the system to compensate people."
