You see, when you left town, there was a huge jump in the average IQ of the remaining population. It isn't every day, after all, that someone with an IQ of -2,000,000 leaves town. However, that was a one-time event; since then, as new idiots moved in to fill the gap, the average IQ slowly returned to its pre-1964 average.

When it comes to the holocaust, I love all of the posts that start out with the assertion that they are a): skeptical and un-biased and b) they don't know much about the topic but what they do know raises question and than proceed to c) very knowingly start detailing the (discredited) arguments of the organized holcaust deniers and neo-Nazis seeking to pose the evidence in the form of new questions, which when answered they refuse to acknowledge the answers.
Well, I do know a lot about it. I've spent years studying it as well as the mass murder by Stalin and the Soviets. JMH's protestations of skepticism and lack of bias and lack of knowledge are immediately shown to be a pretense and a fraud....as well as he wears his antisemitism on his sleeve.
Simon was dead on: there are no laws against questioning the holocaust or investigating the details of it or finding results that change the historical record. What there are laws against -- as I understand it (and here I do protest my own ignroance) -- denying the holocaust as part of an effort to further an Nazi-orriented political agenda and to sow social discord. That is not the law in the United States. I don't happen to believe that such laws are necessary -- but than I believe that holocaust denile when not voiced by a neo-Nazi is a form of mental illness, but that's me -- the facts speak for themselves and the facts usually win out.

However I do believe that the fact that Zundel is in jail is proof that the present German regime, IS repressing his right to free speech and denying him his inalienable right to live as a free man. What is really troubling is that his so called "crimes" were not even committed on German soil, and the US and Canada cooperated with the repressive German regime. If that doesn't scare you it should.
