Personally I don't understand this fetish of looking to the State to have a say in every aspect of our community life. Why do we need a Court of Law to decide for us, as a community, whether or not Michael Jackson was a wholesome, trustworthy person? Are we incapable of figuring things out for ourselves?

I don't know about your legal system but ours is based on the idea that it is better for the guilty to go free than for the innocent to be punished.

I totally agree. He may have been hugely popular but was no game changer. Hes no Elvis or Jimi Hendrix or Beattle and on and on we could go. Talented yes, but not revolutionary.
