Netanyahu accepts Palestinian State!

Do you refuse to recognise the existence of the Vatican CityWP as an independent state?

Do you refuse to acknowledge the Vatican, and Catholicism, exert a powerful influence in Italy? That was my point. Evidently, one which went right over some heads.

Duh. The Vatican, and Catholicism, exerts a powerful influence in lots of places, all over the world. Italy, Cuba, Spain, India, Pittsburgh, etc etc...

why can you not backup your claim then?
you could would you have claimed it about Saudi Arabia, but not with jordan.

yet another huge fail on your side.

When you complete your fact-finding mission to Jordan to verify that Jews are barred from citizenship and from owning land, do me a small favor, will ya: Let me know if you think Queen Noor has had any cosmetic surgery. The rumors swirling around certain New York circles, where she spends time, is she has had some work done. She still has it, though, no?.

Not even close to the official presence the Vatican and Catholicism have in Italy. I provided details in another post. Do a search. Read, learn, courtesy of me.

Telling people to go there still doesn't make your claims magically true.

You ever eat at Istanbul, that kosher restaurant that used to be in Amman?

What the hell...?

Making stuff up out of thin air, obsessed with celebrities...Are you trying to be Jordan's Perez Hilton or something?

I can tell. Berlusconi is just a Vatican pawn; that's why he keeps getting involved in sex scandals. How many divorces has he had, now?

Compared to the Republic of Ireland, the Vatican's influence in Italy barely extends beyond the tourist industry.

Reading your posts is not the best way to learn. In fact, it's more like anti-learning.

I think anti-learning would be an improvement, based on your posts. After your sojourn to Jordan, take a trip to Italy and try to become more insightful about the dominant role of the Vatican. Infinitely more so than any other country you're so desperately grasping for. The trips might also be tax-deductible if conducted for official chat room purposes. Such a deal, right?

Telling people to go there still doesn't actually prove your point.

yes a few decades of Anti-Learning and he would be on your knowledgelevel.

but it would be better you start learning from him. He is a giver :)

Anti-learning would help (hopefully) disabuse those of the comical notion that there is a Jewish population in Jordan today.

but it would be better you start learning from him. He is a giver :)

Who else, then, chat room habitues?

wow indeed you are a giver, you give false information and blatant lies, for free.

thank you very much.

I give accurate information to the information-deprived, so, for example, they do not embarrass themselves in public by stating Jews are permitted citizenship and land ownership in Jordan.

So Jordan arrested a couple of guys for trying to kill people that don't actually exist. And the Jerusalem Post, that hotbed of pro-Jordanian thought, is in on the conspiracy.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

There are numerous breakdowns of the Jordanian population readily available. None that I have reviewed indicate even a small fraction of a fraction of a percent are Jewish. And, not surprising, considering Jordanian laws denying citizenship to Jews.

Study the history of Jordan and the early establishment of Trans-Jordan in the 1920s, and, you'll learn that the British first established the policy of forbidding Jews in order to provide for a largely Arab population, in proximity to what was to become the Jewish state of Israel. Nothing has changed over the course of time to alter Jordan's citizenship policy regarding Arabs and Jews today.

So Jordan did arrest people for trying to kill people who don't exist, with the cooperation of the Jerusalem Post. And the Israeli businessmen who own and operate businesses in Jordan don't exist. And Istanbul, the Israeli-owned kosher restaurant that used to be in Amman never existed.

Ignoring inconvenient facts doesn't magically make them go away.

Keep repeating that. It still won't make it true.

Istanbul closed years ago, at least, as a restaurant. And, it targeted Jewish tourists in Jordan, though, it did not attract many, leading to their business difficulties.

Marc, did you forget the thread Architect started a month or so ago about other ludicrous assertions of yours?

I posted the law five minutes ago. Forget so soon?
Here it is again. No need to thank me. I'm a giver...

Others have already gone over the automatic citizenship bit. Let's look at article 8, for fun:
(1)Subject to the approval of the Minister of Internal Affairs, a foreign woman who marries a Jordanian national may acquire Jordanian nationality if she so wishes by making a written statement to that effect:

(a)Three years after her marriage if she is an Arab;

(b)Five years after her marriage if she is not an Arab.
So where does it say she doesn't get Jordanian citizenship if she's a Jew?

It does. That's why the Jewish population of Jordan is zero. Correction: A few years ago, I did meet a Jordanian Jew who acknowledged he was the only Jew living in Jordan at the time. I don't know his whereabouts today.
So you're already contradicting yourself. First you claim that a Jew cannot be a Jordanian citizen, and now you introduce one yourself. One != zero, it's as simple as that. The statement of your friend was likely an exaggeration, if the story is true at all. What kind of cloth do you make them out of?

If you cannot comprehend the Jordanian citizenship law and interpret how it precludes Jewish citizenship, then, I'm afraid I cannot help any further. It's not rocket science. But, I'm trying to encourage a chat room fact-finding mission to Jordan, so, perhaps you can join in the fun. My preference for cloth is HLesser woolens, from which my suits are made and Riva Italian cotton for my shirts. Pricey, but, well worth it.
