You are conspicuously ignoring the fact that Dr. Quintiere has no use for "truthers." He regards your explosives myth as nonsense. There is no serious disagreement with the broad conclusions of the NIST reports in the engineering community. How can you trick us into believing that someone somewhere has found significant errors of science in these reports when plainly no one has?

On the contrary, there is an ever growing number of building professionals who don't believe the conclusions of the NIST report.

Dear Mr. _______: Thank you for your interest in our research. We publish our findings in public domain and considering a great deal of e-mail I get on our research, in order to provide you with more information, I need to know a bit more about you including your affiliation and possibly a phone contact number. This is due to the fact that I have seen the statements made by the WTC researchers have been taken totally out of context by conspiracy theorists and used as evidence on the Internet that there was a conspiracy of some sort in the collapse of WTC towers. Our research and that of others have shown no evidence of any conspiracy. I find it very unfair and unjustified and to blame the collapse of these towers on conspiracy , which distract the attention from the lessons that we can learn from this tragedy to make our structures more resilient to prevent such a loss of life in the future. There's a thread somewhere listing all of his WAC phrases made a couple years ago... maybe someone who knows the link to it can remind other posters by posting it to answer why there's no reason to waste much time with him. The link currently escapes me...

Have you read Mr. Quintiere's book?

Here is a sample:
A critique of the World Trade Center investigation with respect to the cause of the collapse of towers 1 and 2 is presented. The official investigation conducted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) concluded that the collapse was due to the fires heating the core columns that were stripped of insulation by the aircraft impacts. An alternative cause is considered that puts the cause on insufficient insulation of the steel truss floor members. Evidence for the latter is supported by NIST analysis of a truss member, Underwriter Laboratory furnace tests of the floor assembly, and engineering calculations and scale model tests conducted at the University of Maryland. The presentation is couched in terms of 10 questions for NIST.

The authors are included in the list of qualified people. What part of that don't you understand? You never answered me: why aren't the engineering organizations of the world not shouting fraud from every rooftop?

Your transparent debate tactics are the worst pile of crap I have ever read. If you did ANY research, you would know EXACTLY what Quintiere's issue is with the NIST, and how it in no way, shape, or form validates your opinion.

Perhaps you should read his book; he thinks folks like you are idiots.

Neither, it is the truth. These are the people at NIST signed off on the final report on WTC 7. No one here has found any building professionals who have endorsed this crock of Swiss cheese.
