TAM7 Photo Thread

I'm scared to death to get my pic taken with celebs. Probably stemmed from the one time I went to get Charles Schulz's autograph and he was so rude and crabby it left me traumatized forever.

I would like to get my pic with Penn and Teller though....I hear they're very nice.

If you can't catch them at TAM, they also take photos with anyone who wants one after their show.
 
Did I mention that I collect photos of myself taken with celebrities?

NOTE: The following page has not actually been updated in over a year. I have too many new photos to stick on it! Some browsers can't handle the load, as it is. So, I sarted working on a new version, that is sortable and filterable, etc. But, it won't be ready for a little while longer.

I read this post, again, and it dawned on me that you might be confused.

Sala Baker (who played Sauron in LOTR) is the "not cute" dude in the second photo. Nicki Clyne (who played Cally in Battlestar), is the lady in the first photo, whom was NOT referred to in the remark.


Unless... you were implying that Nicki thinks Sala is "cute", and by saying he isn't I am insulting her taste, or something. Is that what you meant?

Maybe I'm the one who's slightly confused.

The new version of the page can rank the celebrities by their "fame value", which might be somewhat arbitrary, but it will help filter out some of the not-so-famous from the list.

Some of those folks are only famous in certain circles, which could also be indicated in the new version.
 
I got my picture taken with Teller last year. That's all I needed. :heartbeat:


Perhaps if I'm feeling particularly ambitious this year, I'll ask for a picture with Adam or something.
 
The only picture I have of myself with a celebrity is exactly of Adam, at last year's TAM.
 
Since this may be the only TAM I get to make, I'm going to try to get pics and autographs from as many of the big guys as I can!
 
I strongly suspect that I'll be taking a lot of photos of other people with celebrities, simply because I'll be taking a lot of photos. But unless someone else wants to take photos of me with celebs, I won't be handing my camera over to anyone.

...because then I can't be using it myself...

However, I am thinking of taking a sharpie and getting everyone I can to sign my Stop Sylvia Browne t-shirt. Then I'll donate it to the TAM8 scholarship auction.

That's why we have credentials with our forum IDs and avatars... well that an so the guys can look at skepchick chests and not feel guilty.
 
I am once again coming to TAM. Yay! Can I just say that I have the best and most understanding husband in the world??? I will only be there for two days, but it will have to be enough!

Wow, I am sorry my pics are so freakin big. I am,however, glad that I did not post the picture of my cleavage that I jokingly took at the show. It would just be too much.

Also, Wowbagger, I am very excited to meet you. You look so fun, and I am not being snarky at all.

And Scrut, I have to say, you do NOT look like what I expected. Can you speak in Russian? :)
