no serial numbers were identified from flight 77

Who has the expertise on aircraft parts and serial numbers, the FBI or the NTSB?
Irrelevant. Who owns the data?
ETA: Here's a hint from the NTSB's official document:
The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 are under the jurisdiction of the Federal Bureau of
Investigation. The Safety Board provided requested technical assistance to the FBI, and any
material generated by the NTSB is under the control of the FBI. The Safety Board does not plan to
issue a report or open a public docket.

They asked for the specific serial numbers, i asked about serial numbers being used to ID a plane in a criminal investigation.
Who asked?

Continuing the bickering, personal attacks and derails is likely to result in more severe mod action for many of you, up to and including suspensions and bans.

Remember this? For now I've just moved a number of posts to AAH mostly for bickering. Some contained on-topic material, but because they also contained bickering, they've been moved. If you want your posts to be visible here, and if you want to retain your posting privilidges, please observe the membership agreement, and especially mod-box requests.

Can anybody find me even ONE air crash where the identity of the aircraft was in doubt?

I here exclude wrecks found generations after they occurred, like the missing aircraft from WW-2 and things like Amelia Earhart's plane, I am referring to a active visible crash where there was a fire response or coast guard rescues etc.

Just one?

And if you can find that one, and I cannot, what evidence did they look at to determine which aircraft it was?

My opinion is that in such a case a CVR or FDR would be considered probative.

Noted. And a question; At what point is repeating the exact same lie over and over and over a violation of the membership agreement? Because it should be.

No, we have plenty of evidence for those events. We have very little evidence for 9/11.
Would you object to explaining, in a different thread of course, how the evidence supporting the fact of the murder of Caesar is superior to that supporting the conclusion that AA77 crashed into the Pentagon?

The FedEx Boeing MD-11 freighter that crashed on landing this morning at Tokyo's Narita Airport has been identified, as its charred wreckage is still blocking one of the airport's two runways.

A senior official at the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) in Tokyo says the FedEx MD-11F's registration number is N526FE. According to Flight's ACAS database FedEx owns this aircraft, which has a serial number of 48600, and it was built in 1994.

The identity of the FedEx MD -11 was never in doubt - Fail

Homeland Insurgency, if you're lurking you might want to log back in and delete that post because that did not even come close to answering the question. And why did you bold the registration number and serial number? Basically, you identified a plane that you thought was never identified.

I dont expect HI to respond with anything other than a hand wave of mis - quote and mis - direction.

HI reads but only digests what his CT brain tells him too. Because the news report said "The FedEx Boeing MD-11 freighter that crashed on landing this morning at Tokyo's Narita Airport has been identified", HI interprets it as meaning that it was somehow lost or unknown etc. Cherry picks the drama bits that he thinks supports his line, expecting us to fail to read it ourselves.

I answered exactly what was asked.

Why was an article written how the plane was identified and list the registration and serial numbers as evidence? They could have just asked all the experts here. You suppose?

Funny they didn't include any information about the FDR in identifying the plane. But then again that is never mentioned in anything written about the planes said to have hit the towers either.

As an additional duty, aircraft maintenance officers are occasionally tasked as members of aircraft accident investigation boards and my personal experience was no exception. In 1989 I graduated from the Aircraft Mishap Investigation Course at the Institute of Safety and Systems Management at the University of Southern California. In addition to my direct participation as an aircraft accident investigator, I reviewed countless aircraft accident investigation reports for thoroughness and comprehensive conclusions for the Inspector General, Head Quarters Pacific Air Forces during the height of the Vietnam conflict.

In all my years of direct and indirect participation, I never witnessed nor even heard of an aircraft loss, where the wreckage was accessible, that prevented investigators from finding enough hard evidence to positively identify the make, model and specific registration number of the aircraft and in most cases the precise cause of the accident. This is because every military and civilian passenger-carrying aircraft have many parts that are identified for the safety of flight. That is, if any of the parts were to fail at any time during a flight, the failure would likely result in catastrophic loss of aircraft and passengers. Consequently, these parts are individually controlled by a distinctive serial number and tracked by a records section of the maintenance operation and by another section called plans and scheduling.

Following a certain number of flying hours, or, in the case of landing gears, a certain number of takeoff-and-landing cycles, these critical parts are required to be changed, overhauled or inspected by specialist mechanics. When these parts are installed, their serial numbers are married to the aircraft registration numbers in the aircraft records and the plans and scheduling section will notify maintenance specialists when the parts must be replaced. If the parts are not replaced within the specified time or cycle limits, the airplane will normally be grounded until the maintenance action is completed. Most of these time-change parts, whether hydraulic flight surface actuators, pumps, landing gears, engines or engine components, are virtually indestructible. It would be impossible for an ordinary fire resulting from an airplane crash to destroy or obliterate all of those critical time-change parts or their serial numbers. I repeat, impossible. - Colonel George Nelson

How many plane parts were found on 9/11? Got a list?

you only posted a serial number for the entire plane
you can get that from the FAA

as for parts they found
heres 1

notice the size of the rotor and shaft, look familiar? lol

As you well know - ATC, Radar, FDR, DNA, Witnesses etc etc etc identify the aircraft from 911.

In addition, plenty of plane parts were found on 911. I am sure that the FBI will have made a thorough investigation and may well have a list. Photographic evidence of plane parts are also available from many reliable sources.

Below is what you posted earlier. I have bolded the relevent parts for you to highlight your continued self debunking methods. You simply dont read or comprehend what you post because it answers your own question and 'debunks' your own arguement.

You sourced it. You posted it. Read it!

You 'debunked' yourself HI. Classic stuff. Keep it up. The TM will be so proud of you.

Let's highlight the question you frauds ALWAYS run from as it helps us to understand the nature of your game. My point is that you know perfectly well that you're telling lies. You dismiss all evidence inconvenient to your insane delusions, fully aware that your position is absurd and untenable.

I wrote in an earlier post:

You have the opportunity to strike a blow for honest debate. Tell us, very simply, if there has ever been a crash of a commercial jetliner where the identity of the plane has been in question. Please--we are waiting to hear about the "mystery" crash and how it was solved. You "truthers" insist that the real crash investigators and avionics techs are wrong when they explain that serial numbers played no significant role in identifying the four planes hijacked on 9/11/01. I won't waste time asking what you know that the experts don't. No "truther" will ever touch that question, for obvious reasons.
Just tell us when a commercial airliner crashed and there was a mystery surrounding its identity.

You don't want people to get the idea that you have fabricated nonsense again.
