We have, for years now Roger. Remember?
Goodness, if you cant even admit that.....so sad.
AA77 was readily identified by accident investigators, therefore, no serial numbers were required.
I really don't know what you are talking about.
Did I say flight 77 never existed? Did I say people didn't die on 9/11?
Please. Get a grip.

<boggle> You do know that the airline operations people keep in touch with thier planes in flight, don't you? No? I didn't think so.
Lets assume for the moment that there is a big jet and a crew and a bunch of passengers missing and nobody noticed, not the families of the crew and passengers, nobody.
That does nothing to change the basic story of 9/11; Islamist hijackers captured planes and crashed them into buildings.
I agree.

It is not unprecedented where Flight Data Recorders have been switched/planted. The Institute of Police Forensic Evidence and Criminology have determined that the FDR recovered from the crash of Air France 296 is "either... not... the DFDR of the crashed Airbus A320 on the photograph... or the DFDR presented at the trial is NOT the one from the crashed Airbus A320."

The FBI's refusal to release the serial number data contained by aircraft components collected from the 9/11 plane crash scenes has resulted in a civil lawsuit filed in federal court, seeking to obtain this information:
Per U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, all federally registered civil aircraft are to contain uniquely numbered components:
However, the FBI and now the FAA, has refused to reveal aircraft component serial number data in their possessions, that would confirm the alleged federal registry identifications of the commercial civil aircraft said to have been used to carry out the 9/11 attacks.
By document labeled "Remarks of Carol Carmody Vice-Chairman, National Transportation Safety Board Leadership in Times of Crisis Seminar", it is indicated that the director of the FBI requested that the NTSB "help identify aircraft parts" belonging to the said aircraft.
By document labeled "Testimony of Marion C. Blakey, Chairman National Transportation Safety Board before the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation United States Senate", it is indicated that the NTSB assisted the FBI with the process of "aircraft parts identification" regarding the said aircraft.
A 12/16/2007 public correspondence e-mail inquiry of the NTSB posed the following question:
"Will the NTSB refer to recovered aircraft component serial number data, to determine the positive ID of an aircraft following a mishap, in the absence of other identifying data?"
The following e-mail response was provided by a Susan Stevenson of the NTSB on 12/26/2007:
"Yes. NTSB investigators rarely encounter a scenario when the identification of an accident aircraft is not apparent. But during those occasions, investigators will record serial numbers of major components, and then contact the manufacturer of those components in an attempt to determine what aircraft the component was installed upon."
The above cited method of identification was apparently required to obtain the positive identifications of American Airlines flight 11 and United Airlines flight 175, which crashed into the World Trade Center towers.
By FAA documents identified as "Summary of Air Traffic Hijack Events", pages 4 and 13, it is indicated that American Airlines flight 11 (N334AA) and United Airlines flight 175 (N612UA) were not transmitting proper transponder identification data at the time of their respective destructions and that therefore, proper aircraft identification cannot have been obtained from this absent or erroneous data.
By documents labeled "NOTES TO CHAPTER 1", page 456, of the "Final Report of the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States" (2004), it is indicated that "the CVRs and FDRs from American 11 and United 175 were not found" and that therefore, proper aircraft identification cannot have been obtained from this absent data.
Roger - You seem oblivious to the fact that you continuously post sources that actually refute what you say. You are a diamond in supplying information that kicks your own arguement in the testicles chump! Classic twoofer, keep it up.
How does the following i quoted refute what i posted about serial numbers being required to ID a plane?

Perhaps you should re-read his post. It clearly shows you why, Roger.
I dont ever expect you to get it Roger. The above needs to be read properly Roger. It is a snippet of 'ifs and buts' Roger. The bigger picture gives you the overall results Roger.
Sorry but the sources quoted (along with others) support my point that serial numbers must be used in a crime scene investigation to verify aircraft.
You lied when you pretended that air traffic controllers did not track planes right into the twin towers.
Danielle O'Brien, air traffic controller in Dulles. September 11th, 2001 ~8:18 AM: Airport air traffic controller Danielle O'Brien (Dulles) handled the routine, on-time departure of American Flight 77:
"I slid over to the controller on my left, Tom Howell, and I asked him, 'Do you see an unidentified plane near southwest of Dulles? she remembered. "And his response was, 'Yes. Oh, my gosh, yes, look how fast he is.'" In the room, it was almost a sense of relief," O'Brien said. "This must be a fighter. This must be one of our guys sent in, scrambled to patrol our capital, and to protect our president." O'Brien had already handed Flight 77 off to a different air traffic control center. "And we waited. And we waited," O'Brien recalled. "And your heart is just beating out of your chest. And then the Washington National Airport controllers came over our speakers in our room and said, 'Dulles, hold all of our inbound traffic. The Pentagon's been hit. 9:06 AM"
Officials at Cleveland Center rush word to Washington: Hijackers have another flight.
At the Federal Aviation Administration's command center in Herndon, Va., Delta Flight 1989 joins a growing list of suspicious jets. Some of their flight numbers will be scrawled on a white dry-erase board throughout the morning. Eventually, the list will grow to 11.
One, a TWA flight, refuses to land in Pittsburgh and wants to fly on toward Washington. Another, a Midwest Express flight, disappears from radar over West Virginia. And three jets over the Atlantic Ocean are sending out distress signals, the Coast Guard reports.
Top managers at the FAA's command center fear the worst: Jets all over the country — including some over the oceans — are being hijacked. One after another.
They may support your point Roger. But your point has no point. .
Well then.
Go ahead. Post the transponder code from start to finish.
Thanks for agreeing that my point has been proven that serial numbers are needed to ID planes on 9/11.
Again. You cant read or understand what is put in front of you. Classic
People keep forgetting that AA77 was OFF THE SCREEN for several minutes and then not noticed for several more minutes by ATC.
