Mark Roberts Interview on Skeptic Zone

Carol Valentine is so influential that I haven't heard of her. Have you got a link to these October 2001 theories?

I notice you skipped over Alex Jones and Mike Ruppert. Do you deny they were early proponents who had nothing to do with holocaust denial?

Alex Jones has no original theories to speak of. In fact, he has interviewed writers of AFP several times and even Eric Humsfield on his radio show.

As for Mike Ruppert, I wouldn't consder him a founder considering his theories aren't even used in today's mainstream movement. Remember, we are talking about what theories the 9/11 deniers are using today, not who was there at the beginning.

The Carol Valentine article:

He was written several more but lots of theories used by today's movement are here.

How revealing! I simply said "a false flag attack" and you immediately said Reichstag. Thanks for the confirmation.

Please, I automatically knew you were referring to that. Your kind is a very predictable bunch.

And considering the only evidence of the "false flag" comes from theorist nuts like Alex Jones, don't expect me to buy into it.

Also, I don't believe there was ever any actual proof that the Reichstag fire was false flag, other than some hearsay about Goering.

Well until today I had never heard Carol Valentine's name so I think you need to rethink your definition of influential.

You are claiming that the movement was started by holocaust deniers. The fact that Alex Jones, who isn't one, was claiming the buildings were blown up on his 9/11 radio show proves that completely false.

As far as I am aware, the first people talking about PNAC and put options etc were Ruppert and Chussodovsky. Neither of them holocaust deniers.

If Carol "who the **** is she" Valentine is the best you have got then you got problems.

mchapman - I have continually bumped post 244, and you have continued to ignore it. I have to assume at this point that your inability to answer the question- and indeed your outright refusal to even acknowledge it- means that you are incapable of admitting that your rebuttal in regards to the anti-Semitism within the conspiracist movement is unparalleled. That kind of cognitive dissonance is reserved for folks who simply cannot reconcile their fantasy with the facts.

You also called me a proven liar, but were unable to substantiate that accusation as well- yet you demand to be taken seriously. You're a fraud, and you don't deserve any more attention.

9/11 is a mystery, not a science experiment.

This statement says alot about the truthers and their comprehension of science and evidence.

To them, the conspirators worked in "mysterious" ways, used never before seen "mysterious" techniques, what happen "defies the laws of physics". It's "mysterious" almost in the religious sense.

As long as they keep making it a "mystery", truthers can say pretty much anything, because to them it's not about explaining what happened.

The fact that Alex Jones, who isn't one, was claiming the buildings were blown up on his 9/11 radio show proves that completely false.

Actually Alex Jones is an anti-semite.

He has allowed anti-semite groups to advertise on his site, he has used anti-semite sources, even had a few of them on his show. He even recently said that the documentary Obsession was done by Jews.

Let's not forgot his endorsement of Fabled Enemies, saying Jews did 9/11.

That's it? "It didn't look right" ?

Who was this guy?

Heres an idea..... LISTEN TO THE SHOW! Do an ounce of research for a change. You claim to know who started the truth movement but you haven't even heard the first radio show Alex Jones did on it on 9/11.

I don't know who he was but he was a structural engineer working near the wtc who spoke on the Alex Jones show at about 1130am on the morning of 911.

That's quite a heavy accusation there. I assume you can link me to some audio or writing of Alex Jones' that shows he is anti semitic?

That's because AJ didn't start the movement. All he did was give others a spotlight to spout his theories. He hardly does any original research (point proven with his interview with the "structural engineer")

Hmm I wonder which was more influential.... Carl Valentine (Who?) or Alex Jones?

Is anyone really contending that Carol Valentine and Eric Hufschmid started the 911 truth movement, or had any significant bearing on it?

Grasping.

At.

Straws.

So your entire argument isn't based on what is being said (even though that IS the argument), but popularity?

Guys, help me out, what logical fallacy is this?

eric hufschmid loves Loose Change and Alex Jones in some debunkers little black and white world

http://www.erichufschmid.net/Avery-Rowe-Bermas-Hufschmid-phonecall.html

what cheap attempts

what is worrying the debunkers now the TM is allegedly dead and only a hanfull kooks left?

You know he changed his tune because no one was paying attention to him anymore, right? Loose Change boys outclassed him, he was pissed, and started accusing AJ and LC boys as being part of a zionist conspiracy against him.

Still doesn't deter the argument.

So interviewing an anti semite makes you an anti semite? A journalist interviewed Osama, does that make him a terrorist?

Please link to some anti semetic writings of Alex Jones. I must admit I havent ever come across anything like that.

It isnt a fallacy. Its about influence which is what Gravy claimed originally. He claimed that a small number of influential anti semites shaped the truth movement.

I am just saying that Carol and Eric are not influential at all.

So how exactly is addressing gravys claim a fallacy?
