James Giles of the BBC phoned me this morning and asked if I would care to participate in a London-based radio talk show tonight. Billed as a wide-ranging discussion of conspiracy theories, with Alex Jones scheduled as one of the guests, it promises to be a freak show. Listeners are invited to call-in their opinions. I don't know anything more specific, but the host will call me at roughly 7:15 P.M. New York time, which would be 12:15 A.M. in London.

Perhaps I should morph into pomeroo just for Alex.
 
RedIbis, I'm not entirely sure if the stream is available outside Britain, but I'm sure one of the other resident Brits can record it (I would, but I have no idea how to do it).

Ron, what channel is it on? I'll be listening with open ears and a caring heart (For Jones that is. Going up against rationalism can't be too healthy for him).

What are you wearing? You need to look your best on the radio.

Walrus, I wish I could tell you what channel it's on, but the call interrupted my sleep.

I was thinking about doing the show naked. It might give me a psychological edge. Then again, it might give Jones the wrong idea.

Well, you could download MPlayer Windows GUI (which is free) and then run:

gmplayer.exe -dumpstream -dumpfile "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\Stream" <URL_OF_STREAM>

That should dump the stream to your desktop.
 
James Giles was one of the producers of The Conspiracy Files, which did an excellent debunking job on the twoofers. So if it's going to be a 'freak show', then I rather think that Mr Jones will be the freak.

Maybe your buddy will be willing to participate on your show in return and you can schedule me so I can expose how he is complicit in the cover up for the Bush Administration and therefor an accessory to the 3000 murders on 9/11.

Or are you two skeeeeeeeeeered?

The BBC streams all its mainstream radio programmes and they're available throughout the world. Well, some eejit emailed a Radio 2 show this morning from Malaysia and was clearly listening online, likewise Moylsie occasionally gets notes from Yankland......

Good luck, mate. Stick with your usual MO and you should come across well. Remember Brits naturally object to loud-mouthed self opinionated erses like AJ.

I'm sure me and the Daves will be rooting for you, but not at quarter past midnight when we're all tucked up in bed with cocoa...unless......anyone fancy getting a stack of calls into it?
