To the best of my knowledge, the ancients actually noticed a real difference between the stars, the sun, and the moon. I highly doubt that at any time they referred to these last two as "planets".

I doubt it too. The earliest references are Xenophon (Mem. 4.7.5.3) and Aristotle Meteorlogica 342b29 both of whom speak of planetes asteres wandering stars, as distinct from the fixed ones. The sun and the moon were different.

I am not trying to rationalize events, I am looking for somebody who shares my views to exchange information, and if I have to answer a question I have to try and use some sort of simplification method just in order to make it more or less understandable. sometimes it is difficult to explain something without using analogies or stupid examples (and believe me I am a master at that)

This "T-square" would put a tremendous focus on power, control and secrecy (Pluto). It is in fixed signs, which are, well, very fixed and not very adaptable. I don't know about you, but I can almost see this energy when I see him on TV - he is absolutely solid, and many people thought that he was the real power in the previous Bush administration.

Richard Dawkins, (March 26, 1941, unknown birth time), has the Uranus-Neptune trine also trine Mars in Capricorn (the sign traditionally associated with science), making a Grand Earth Trine. This, to me, correlates beautifully with the way that he is able to explain scientific principles like evolution in an individual way (Uranus), and with great imagination (Neptune). But, his Sun (expression - where he "shines") and Venus (the way he expresses love) are opposite Neptune, pointing to a literal opposition from much of the public. This opposition is doubly reinforced by being conjunct, within 1-5 degrees, the Moon's North and South Nodes - these are not planets, but places in space used (mathematically) to predict eclipses, and astrologically they are associated with cultural trends and relationships with the public.

Didn't failing miserably last time you were tested here not even dent your faith in your own abilities, never mind in astrology as a whole?

In other word aquila, you just admitted that the environmental influence is greater than any of the star. Now we just need to ask you, if the environmental influence is so great, how can you even project chart without even taking this environmental influence into account. Answer : you can't and astrology charting is cow dung, even if star were influencing us to a degree.

Now naturally we could go in other series of falsification to see how much the influence of the star in comparison to environmental influence (and we would find out a NIL influence). But the above point as already posted by Gord is a pretty damning one.

it is known that twins try to develop different personalities and lyfestiles from one another. This is no evidence against astrology
 
Indeed, not everything is lost for Astrology.

It is the same reason not everything is lost for Homeopathy, Psychics and the Lochness Monster.

People will always want to believe in something beyond rational causes.
