Ought there be a "Slaughter Rule" in debunking?

You know in chicago-style slow-pitch softball, when one team is 15 runs ahead of the other, the game is over.

And our present situation with the 911 CTers is; It's the bottom of the first inning. Gravy, our pitcher, struck out the first three Truther batters, and now we have been getting home runs on them from hits that should have been outs, including two inside-the-park grand slams. And the score is 40 to nothing.

I know nothing at all about baseball, but what's going on with LastChild at the moment isn't far off roughing the passer. He's down by contact, the referee's blown the play dead, and I think I'm looking at a fifteen-yard penalty.

This analogy only works when both sides agree on it. If the team that's behind 15 refuses to leave the field...

I almost feel sorry for SwingDangler in the "intercepts" thread. When I realised how ignorant he was of the topic I almost stopped posting.

But then I realised how much fun I'd have tearing him a new one. :D

Am I a bad person? :boxedin:

Problem is, the majority of the Truth Movement is under the delusion that the 40-0 is in their favor.

Maybe they misinterpreted which side was "Home" and "Away" on the scoreboard? :D

The slaughter rule takes effect after 5 innings. I've been on both sides of it. I'm in the Chicago 16" engineers league, which plays on the beautiful Grant Park fields.
