Rosemary Hunter...

Did she actually leave no longer believing in her powers? That must be a first for the challenge.

I agree with everyone else: well done to Ms. Hunter for trying!

I would like to congratulate Rosemary. Even though she failed to demonstrate any paranormal powers, she should know that she is very brave to participate in the test. It took guts, and the test video reveals that she is honestly deluded and not merely a fraud. Delusions are not a character defect. Many of us are here because we have overcome such beliefs, whether it be the Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, or psychic abilities. It would truly be wonderful for humanity if more of the people claiming paranormal ability had the guts to be tested.
I wish Rosemary all the best. She's showed the guts to do what Sylvia Browne has so far not had in this matter. Is it so bad that she has no paranormal powers? I am personally glad that to know that not every paranormal claimant is a fraud. It helps my faith in humanity's potential to know that many of the people claiming these things are merely deluded and not liars.

Way to go, Rosemary.

Thanks, Remie. Looking forward to see part two.

While watching, I couldn't resist but think,...... hmmm, this thing looks ridiculous....

I'd just like to pop in, and say thank you to Jeff, RemieV and others for uploading the video so quickly. Sorry I was at work, while the test was in progress, and couldn't watch it live.

The first of the four Rosemary Hunter videos appears to no longer be available for some reason.

Yeah, it's giving me that message too... Rich might be messing with it. 'Cause I watched it five minutes ago and it was fine.... Very strange...

I'll let you know if I hear a reason.

All four videos are back.

I think a little editing would have been good to compress the time somewhat. Those 15 minutes are a long time, and it is not really necessary to have them all on film when nothing is happening.

But anyway, it is the first test to have been published like this, and it is nice to see the relaxed attitude that everybody showed. I did not find the kind of adversarial situation where claimants are ridiculed to lose their concentration that some people think happens.

Ms Hunter, however, did not strike me as being as certain of of her abilities as she seemed to be in the time before the test. It strikes me as strange that she claims she has done this feat before. Anyway, if she ever had a chance, she blew it when she stipulated that Jeff should empty his bladder before the test. She was now not just claiming that she could make people urinate, but also that God would magically fill their bladder!

One thing that became apparent in the chat room (and doesn't seem to have been mentioned elsewhere) is that Rosemary Hunter flew down from Cleveland (Ohio?) to Florida just for this 15-minute test, and was intending to fly straight back post-test.

How much is that likely to have cost her ?

I am so disappointed, I had high hopes for Rosemary. The report of the guy feeling sick in the park made me think she could be the real deal!

IMO emptying the bladder was too much to ask, she will be back and next time you guys are going down. ;)

All in all I'm proud of her for showing up.

O.K., she had the guts to show up. I did not expect that. She failed. She made no excuses. Good.
The question still to be answered is this one:

Did she actually leave no longer believing in her powers?

Did she? What exactly did she say after failing? Anything? Yes, I´m nosy.

The other question that needs asking is what publicity will their be in the future? Will the press that publicised her abilities also give a fair account of this test?

While I admit to having been a part of the crowd applauding applicants for showing up - as they promised; and which Ms. Hunter did not do in a previous test - and trying to prove their claims - which they were so sure of - I'll act as the wet blanket here:
She failed.
To prove a claim so ludicrous even Monty P. would not have touched.

Please, everyone, remind yourself of this: Ms. Hunter wanted to make Mr. Wagg urinate using a paranormal, occult or supernatural power.

Hello?

Do I believe her claim - no. However, I was impressed she showed up, was friendly, was cooperative, and did the test…even agreeing to the whole webcam thing.

If only others, such as SB, had the same attitude.
