The Origami/Richard thread

I've found my calling as the owner of a humble pigasus farm*.

I believe the proper term is "A Credulity of Pigasuses"

My attempts at Pigasus have them all looking like they live downstream of the Jack Daniels distillery in Tennessee. You know Jack sells their sour mash to the local farmers and ranchers.

Yay!!! After only about 8 hours of trying to figure it out, I finally completed steps 7 - 8!!!!

I'm not sure how much further I'll actually get before Richard puts up the how-to video, but at least now my Origami lumps look different than they did before....

Don't give up.. I'm in the edit stage now of the video...

/me seriously, seriously, seriously <3 Richard Saunders

(Photos will follow as soon as I have some pigasi that didn't start their lives as lumps...)

What? You thought I was gonna make it out of solid color paper?

Niiiiiice Luciana! I love that Pigasus brings out the exhibitionist in everyone!

I folded mine this afternoon while watching the YouTube video...

TDL_pigasus.jpg

I used 1.5" Post-It note paper, photographed it with my Cingular 8525 PDA Phone, and tweaked it in Photoshop CS3. I usually fold a bigger model before attempting such a small one and the result was a not-too-great piece. I promise to do a better one (and probably smaller one) next time.

And would someone mind posting it on the Facebook group? I couldn't find the group and I don't have an account.

Many thanks to Richard for the instructions!!
