My Telepathic Abilities

I would try again

I meant trying again to answer this question.

...:
What would you conclude if several tests like the one I proposed were negative (if the "receiver" did not get what you "sent", like last night with the two photos)?

Nevermind.

At which point, after how many unsuccessful tests would you conclude that you do not have a telepathic ability?

I dunno i can just guess it was 4321 21 21 or something ..

The number was 6111.

Cant you see? Its obious he is using telepathic via cryptography.

4321
+---
2121
=
6200, not really there yet, but close.

43212121
4+3 2-1 2-1 2-1
4+3(=7) 2-1(=1) 2-1(=1) 2-1(=1)
= 7111, ohh so close.. ;)

And know... *drums please* the solution:
only using his numbers in correct order: 43212121

[43212121]
a=(4*3)/2

[43212121]
b=1

[43212121]
c=2-1

[43212121]
d=2-1

a=6, b=1, c=1, d=1

=6111.

Its a winner! ;)

hmmm

Unexplained fevers.

Delusions about telepathy.

Seeing blue waves in a dark room.

Claiming brain pain.

Haven you been tested for Syfilus in the last 2 years?

Have you actually asked anybody if they are hearing your voice in their heads? No inferred from what they've said but asked plainly and straightforwardly.

Oh I so should have gone with my other alias of mathgeek when I registered. How's this for a saying --

"Cryptography is a function,
Numerology is a relation"

(For those who don't get it, there are several correct answers to a relation, while only one in a function).

ex F(x) = x^4 --> F(2) = 16, F(-2) = 16
R(x) = x^1/4 -> R(16) = 2 or -2 or 2i or -2i

Vytautas' last activity as registered user was on June 11, 11:41 pm. He did not come back to the forum after he left on the same night I suggested a simple test protocol.

He has not unveiled the results of his self-tests yet. Perhaps Vytautas found a more reasonable explanation for what happened than "telepathy".

This is, after all, a forum of an educational foundation.

If he really did wise up then I think we should break out the cigars. One less poor, self-deluded fool out there.

It's far more likely that he would rather keep his delusion than face the fact that he does not have any special powers. It's way too premature for back-patting.

That said, GzuzKryzt gets a great big ATTA BOY for showing patience beyond the call of duty.

It's easy when you've had qualified teachers: MRC_Hans, Tricky, Darat, Gayle, et al.

I had the very same ability 2 years ago. Lasted about 4 days -- turned out it was only D.T.s because I stopped drinking :rolleyes:

Where's the sarcasm smilie? Is it still on backorder?
There is absolutely no sarcasm on this forum! Ever! So it would be completely useless to have a sarcasm smilie because it would never get used!

A Number Is Thinking Of Me - Who Am I?

:)) could be. Iv successfully tried to talk in england with my friends in lithuania.

And whats the point for me to lie?

There are 1 million reasons to lie. Each one of them worth $1 (before taxes).

But a lie cannot win the JREF prize.

Since nobody in world history who has ever claimed to have such abilities has ever passed one single controlled scientific test to prove it, you should understand why the skepticism. We've heard this claim so many times before that it's become like the little boy who cried "wolf, wolf" one time too many so that nobody takes him seriously anymore.

Is it too much to ask for someone to prove it once and for all? Claims of telepathic ability are very common, but to date, have never been proven when put directly to the test.

Since telepathy is so easy to test, why is it so extremely hard to prove?

If you can do something that nobody else can do and do it consistently on demand, any time, anywhere, it would make the claim more believable.

For example, if you claim you have the ability to stand on your head, you should be able to do it in a scientifically controlled environment or just about anywhere else when someone asks to see you demonstrate the ability. Just replace 'ability to stand on your head' with 'telepathy' or any other ability and the same rule applies.

Anything you do that can be faked or duplicated by a professional stage magician is not likely to taken as serious proof. This is why a scientific setting is needed to eliminate the possibility of cheating, bias or misinterpretation of the observations.

There is a method to all scientific testing and that method exists for a good reason.

The standards by which any claim is tested are the same standards applied to any scientist who claims to have discovered something new. You are not being treated unfairly by being asked to provide proof under those same standards.
