Video with edited sound, explosions added

Did they really think they'd fool anyone for very long? And how did he expect these people to react once they found the original clip? How does lying promote the "truth"?
I'm fairly convinced that these people have an undying devotion to the concept of "the ends justify the means". Basically, they "know" Bush did it and that he needs to be removed, but they also know they can't prove it with the available evidence, so they just make crap up...

Edit: Ack. I pretty much just echoed what uk_dave said on the previous page.

Yeah, but the stuff they make up is just so...bad!

Instead of starting a new thread, I just use this old rag... :D

I have no idea what Rosie O'Donnell has to do with this clip, but its what the uploader called it:
"Rosie O'donnell World Trade Center 7 Seven 9/11: bombs 9/11"

http://youtube.com/watch?v=FFV0T_HLRuc&mode=related&search=

There are two exlosions at the start - since I dont know when this was shot, I don't know what it might be. The videoeditors obviously claims its the CD that took down WTC7.

I imagine there are several possible explanations, including falling debris. But without knowing when and in what context it was taken, its hard to tell.

I was thinking perhaps someone here could help me out.

Cheers,
S

Coffinman is a hardcore raving loony. He has several videos of what he claims are faked witness reactions to the plane impacts.....

'Hometown: Manchester England'

Sheesh! I share a city with coffinman and pdoh?? Must be something in the water!
We've got room in Chicagoland if you need new stomping grounds.

We've discussed this on another thread somewhere. I've looked into it quite extensively. Fake.

There are two versions out, on one of them you hear people saying 'oh my god' and the other starts with some music, two totally different audio tracks as you can also hear

ps. some people say the "boom boom boom" one is from a BBC documentary. I really really hate these kinds of issues, fakers and disinfo's around

Are you sure its this clip? I know there is an editied (as in with sounds added) clip, but I thought this was genuine (as in not having sound added. The context they put it in however is less than genuine)

No, that's the same one. I've never heard it with any explosion other than that one. It's fake. The explosion sound profile is completely wrong for the environment, the type of microphone, and the direction of the camera. In addition the reactions from the people involved do not reflect a loud explosion.

Let me just make sure we are not talking about two different clips, or parts of the same... In the Rosie O'Donnell clip, at the beginning, were two persons with dust-masks are talking in a public phone, apparently telling someone that they both are allright? Suddenly there are two bangs (which I attributed to falling debris from WTC1 or 2), and the camera pans 180 degrees.

Is that the one?

Yes, except there's only one bang, in stereo. As you can see from the debris everywhere and the lack of dust in the air (relatively speaking) it occurs some time after WTC1 and 2 have collapsed.

Ok, I have to get a hold of those different versions then - if those are fakes I have no need to find out the what, where, how's about those explosions.

I can't say I've ever seen a different version.

So, is it a fake in "added sound" or "enhanced sound"? I imagine someone has checked the sound?

/S

The sound in question doesn't belong in the video at all. It has been added. My theory is it has been added over the top of something else far less compelling.

(Obviously the cameraman and one of them men are reacting to something although it doesn't appear to be a frikken enormous explosion).

Tnx m8, but the clip that made me bumb this thread, is another one:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=FFV0T_HLRuc&mode=related&search=

The one you refer to has btw been removed from Youtube

Gumboot, if you find the thread were you discussed it, or an online analysis, I would be most obliged - I could use it in the debate were a truther posted the clip.

Cheers,
S

Here is the link to the most recent discussion of this (at least, I think it is the same thing).

http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=2443747#post2443747

In a page or two, Gumboot gets into the discussion of how he can tell it is a fake.

This is probably the most concise summary of my conclusions, after running the video through editing software to have a look at it:

It doesn't. The sound is fake. It has been added. The fireman in question says "I know that, but you gotta get back, the city's exploded."

The people present talk over the explosion, as if it had never happened. In addition, the explosion is heard most clearly in the low frequency range and upper range. The volume levels for the explosion are well below all other sound in the area - the voices of the people peak frequently and yet the only peaking on the explosion is below 60 Hz.

The lower end could be explained by a distant explosion, however the high-volume upper end indicates close proximity to the explosion. Consumer handycams have very poor performance at the lower end of the audio range, and professional cameras are equipped with shotgun microphones designed specifically to pick up human voices.

There is no echo on the explosion - and yet it supposedly occured in a crowded city - which produces multiple echos.
