Just to stick my two cents in:
There are some places where ferrites don't help. But that's okay, because the people that understand how to use them properly wouldn't use them then.
Ferrites are not "good" or "bad". They just have properties that can be useful.
Sometimes you need those properties, sometimes you don't. And there's lots of different types of ferrites with slightly different properties for different purposes.
The important point is that it's not a question of trying this and that until you hit on something that works. This is all old-old-old physics. Practical electromagnetics has been nailed down solidly for over a hundred years. It turns out Maxwell was right.
And audio frequency electronics are not at all leading edge. It can be hard to do well because it can be so detail oriented, but what's necessary for any particular performance, and even the sensitivity of that performance to changes in various parts is well understood, and can be calculated.

ES: Do you believe there are things you can hear in the sound which actually exist, that can not be measured? Do you believe there are things in the sound which are measured which cannot be heard? What are they?

It will be measured in the future when most of the narrow-minded skeptics have died out, they get big headed and BAM they are gone. After they are gone the progression in science will speed up. Then the open-minded skeptics will look back at this thread and see I was right the whole time. It has already begun, people are starting to agree with what I have said, more will follow the path to truth. People in this forum don't want to know what truth is, they are only interested in bragging that they know everything so that it makes them look big and important.

Yes. Human ears aren't perfect. Something that measures bad could sound better than something that measures good. People don't know what variables to test, that's the problem.

Learning how a simple thing like microprocessor works doesn't lead you anywhere. It's just playing around with the toys.

It is better to learn how everything works instead. And for that you need to go deep inside yourself and figure out how you work. Narrow-minded skeptics are those who search for the answers elsewhere. They don't realize that they already know the answer. So they go out and learn knowledge from books thinking it will lead somewhere, but it doesn't. So they read more and more until they get stuck in the delusion and can't get out from it.
It's not hard to see who the one that lives in the magic land is. Magic land of books and flawed knowledge they can play around in.

Truth doesn't need proof. It can be meaningless, funny and BS, but it's still the truth. Saying anything isn't going to change that.

The cut off will be different on different planets. For scientists the cut off needs to be infinite. Since the human vessel is so frail a new vessel is required. The vessel can't be on Earth either, it needs to be orbiting the Earth. In the orbit it will receive all humans' thoughts so it can learn and make more accurate knowledge.
For other planets the cut off age will be 20, because after that it's all over. The delusion has taken over and they can't learn new things, the first 20 years has made them who they are. The path already starts in their childhood. Once a skeptic, always a skeptic.

They aren't getting anywhere by learning that stuff, it's all a waste of time. Getting knowledge is a waste of time. You need to use your own mind to truly understand something. Repeating someone elses words does not make you intelligent.

Intelligent people don't have much knowledge so they appear stupid to most people. Stupid people have a lot of knowledge because they are obsessed enough to spend so much time in acquiring it...so they appear smarter even though they don't understand the knowledge and only repeat it.

I wasn't going to get this involved, but I just have to ask...How do you know--as you have implied in so many places--that physics and engineering text books are flawed? And try and give an answer that has some logic to it--e.g.,show me where Maxwell's equations are flawed.

A foundation in electronics, first you need a good foundation in electronics to build on or all you do is make needless mistakes. You can get a good start from books and teachers. Has anyone in this thread tried the Noise Harvester yet? Or do you all just post in this thread to make fun of all the "delusional" audiophiles because it makes you feel superior to them.

You obviously don't want to try the Harvester for fear of it making a difference, because then you know that all the other tweaks could make a difference as well. And that is not the path you want to take.
You also have fear that it doesn't make a difference because then you would get disappointed.
So the 3rd option is to try it and not expecting to hear a difference, instead you plug it in and record it with a crappy microphone and make a video to make yourself look big and special.

Then we busted it apart. There are some film caps in it and resistors. All in all there are about 10 bucks worth of parts.
