Simple Challenge For Bigfoot Supporters

How exactly did you determine what my "true" intention was?
Your typical, predictable, boring pattern of lame behaviour.

*yawn* I'm having trouble being interested in your latest round of trolling. Maybe I should break out some vintage Swarthy brilliance while we wait for you to grow up a little. Hmmm... yes, a 1480 should do the trick.

In any event, you'd be wasting time if you were interested in having Huntster tell you why there's no bigfoot in New York as he's been regrettably banned. I'd suggest speaking with him about it at the BFF but unfortunately as you're banned there that's not going to work.

I guess you'll just have to get to work on that reliable evidence. I'm rooting for you!

Yes, Huntster has been banned and while some others here would surely disagree I find it very disappointing and I'm going to miss him very much. Although I often disagree with him and his way of addressing certain people I consider him a grumpy old friend. I'm still trying to ascertain all the details and I've given serious thought to asking that that decision be reconsidered on his behalf but unfortunately it I'm quite sure it would be futile given the circumstances. Anyone who is interested can see some of the commentary on the matter here.

Although I was born in America, I did mean that I was a part of a specific tribe. However, you very eloquently expressed another very valid point. Since "part" appears to be the operative word, I shall never, ever forget to use again....

Another very good point. Thank you!

No problem.

And I thank you for this:
Does it mean that a kushtaka is a real creature and is proof of a bigfoot? No. I do not believe that traditional stories constitute proof of existence.
Now, dear ladies and gentlemen, what about stop pointing at myths as reliable evidence to back the case and move on ?

Well, I wasn't aware of that before posting my reply for him.

Should I remove the post's content since he will not be able to answer?

I see...you can see inside my mind because "it's typical behavior" for me.

And HOW exactly did you determine, on previous occasions, that the TRUE purpose for a post I had written was something other than what the post was actually about?

Can you provide an example?

Can you answer the other question that I asked you earlier?...
Where in that post did I even give a REASON why Hunster, or anyone else, should be convinced that Joyce actually saw a Bigfoot?

The TRUTH of the matter, kitakaze...is real simple.
You're an obnoxious individual.

Here are 4 reasons why I say that...

1) You think you know why someone isn't posting for a while...when you really don't.
Example....my mother, my new girlfriend. Ring a bell?

2) You think you know someone's true purpose for writing a post....when you don't.
Example....it's on-going as we "speak".
You CANNOT answer the question, quoted above, that I asked you earlier tonight....because there was no reason provided...no attempt to convince anyone that Joyce actually saw a Bigfoot.
You can't support your own statement, kitakaze...
By addressing Huntster and mentioning the Joyce-capade in such way that tries to make it appear like it was fairly presented as supportive evidence of bigfoot your 'point' about skeptics merely serves as window dressing for an attempt to encourage Hunster to think the whole thing it isn't BS.
Assuming, and stating, that you know what other people are thinking without being able to support your ASSumption is obnoxious behavior.

3) You tell others how they should and should not post....
Example....you told Lu not to post large images, because it was messing up a page.
Why did you tell her that? Because you're obnoxious.
Example....you objected to me EMPHASIZING words in my post. WHY? Simply because you're obnoxious.

4) You harrassed Hairy Man over her stated ethnicity....when there is simply no reason to do so. Except to be rude and obnoxious.

Obnoxious behavior...it's you all over, kitty. :)

In Honor of Hunster....

Us Bigfooters...us Bleevers....will miss your presence here very much, Hunster.

If it's any consolation, dude...kitakaze (the rude and obnoxious) wants you back. :p

But actually...Hunster has simply graduated to better things. His time was really wasted here. There is next to nothing as far as intelligent, open-minded debate here with these skeptics.
The skeptics openly state that without PROOF of Bigfoot...all the evidence is meaningless and worthless. (See my signature line below for a beautiful example.)
How then can they possibly debate, analyse, and weigh the evidence for Bigfoot when that say right up front they think it's all meaningless?

Answer....they can't. So any and all attempts at debating the evidence with them is a pure waste of time.

CONGRATULATIONS HUNSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Hmmm... I hear Swarthy snivelling about something. Would like examples of something or some kind of answers to some questions. Man, what does remind me of? Oh yes, that's it...

I'll get around to it, someday soon. It's low on my list of priorities.
Forgive me if I'm not racing to be accomodating to you.

As for me being obnoxious as I've said already, the treatment you receive reflects your behaviour. How do you think most people here regard your behaviour? As for your reasons, #1 and #2 are easy enough given your regular behaviour but I would say I think I've been fair to you when mentioning the reasons for your absences. Again, best wishes for your mothers health and I hope your new lady friend doesn't soon find you as irritating and laughable as many of us do. For #3, I told her? For #4, I harrassed her?

Seriously, kid, get over yourself.:dqueen

The horrors! It's actually clearer the Kentucky Jemimasquatch.

Immediate skepticism ensues from believers, William's point resounds.

I know you've discussed this on the BFF but anyway, next question:

Would orangutans be a better comparison?

Possibly. Not as much work has been done on Orangutan intelligence, but they may be on a par with Chimpanzees. Neither are stupid.

"But are orangutans intelligent? For years, the conventional wisdom was that they were not. This began to change in the 1960s when researchers observed chimpanzees using twigs to lure termites from their mounds, and using rocks to crack open fruits and nuts, skills long-believed to be uniquely human.

In the decades that followed, researchers observed that orangutans also used tools. For example, they used leaves and sticks to handle and open prickly fruit, and crafted leaves into rain hats. In some ways, such observations weren't a surprise. Zookeepers had long taught captive orangutans to hammer nails and to use keys or screwdrivers.

In the mid-1990s, a team led by biologist Carel van Schaik of Duke University watched Sumatran orangutans use specially prepared sticks to pry termites, ants, and other insects from colonies high up in trees. The apes also used the sticks to collect honey and then eat it as if it were on a lollipop.

Researchers, however, aren't ready to declare orangutans equal to humans. For one thing, orangutans don't craft a wide array of tools nor do all orangutans make them, perhaps because they don't really need them to survive.

Van Schaik and colleagues do argue that orangutans show evidence of "culture" -- that is, they can teach each other new skills, and pass them along from generation to generation. Different groups of orangutans can have different cultures.

The researchers laid out their case in the journal SCIENCE in 2003. The study shows "human culture didn't come out of nothing," says van Schaik. "It was built on a firm foundation. Early hominid maternal culture wasn't that different from what we see in apes today." "

I don't think there's any reason to invoke superior intelligence as an explanation for why sasquatches have managed to elude us so far, particulary since mainstream science seems to see no reason to look for them.

Mainstream science rejected DuBois, Dart and the platypus but once embraced Piltdown Man. Good thing we know better now.:)

That remains to be seen and if I do I most certainly will but can you tell me why you think I owe her an apology now?

You called her dishonest. That was uncalled for, IMO.

Yes, Huntster has been banned and while some others here would surely disagree I find it very disappointing and I'm going to miss him very much.

Me too. Thank you for saying that.

I was reading this thread when it happened and only saw him respond to an insult that has been deleted. He did not, from what I saw, initiate the exchange. The insulter hasn't been banned, has he?

I hope you would put in a word for him. I had no stomach for posting for the rest of the day.

Again you obfuscate. You specialize in that kind of intellectual dishonesty. Huntster called me an idiot. I responded with a token insult to him. The word I used was intentionally chosen to be humorous because it was mentioned in the satire of a believer and a skeptic greeting each other in the morning. I would not call him that name unprovoked.

Yeah, he called me an idiot, you goofy obfuscator.

There are other boards.

I would really like to see the discussion continue without these sidetrips. For those wishing to hurl insuts, it doesn't get much better than this:

I offer the site for copy and paste so y'all won't have to think so hard.

As a strong skeptic of Bigfoot existence, I evaluate the above (my posting about BF intelligence) this way...

That's exactly how I would have put it...well you know if I were even remotely as eloquent as you Parch.

Spot on I agree wholeheartedly.

Excellent post.

Yeah, he called me an idiot, you goofy obfuscator.

Woe unto thee, O ye dabbler in abominations, for you will be thrown into a den of hyperactive lions!

In the post I saw he merely said most of the people on the board are idiots. I was skimming and may have missed where he singled you out, but you got my vote for most insulting poster on the board long before Huntster ever joined.

Can we get back to the issues, or is that too much to hope for?

3) You tell others how they should and should not post....
Example....you told Lu not to post large images, because it was messing up a page.

My first post from Photobucket on another board was too large. I think that bothered an admin because last time I looked it had been downsized. ;)

I posted a Green article that didn't get addressed but pages were done on Netiquette and spam.

And I get accused of obfuscation and Red Herrings. Oh, the irony! :D

And now I'm off track. Oops! Sorry.

Oh so we're the close minded ones eh?!?!? It would seem to me that it is in fact you Swatty who is the close minded one.

You are convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that the reclusive Bigfeetsus an 8ft tall,750lb bipedal ape with an alleged body odor that could knock a buzzard off a Shyt Wagon who howls at the top of his lungs nightly in just about every spooky looking stand of tall trees from the Everglades to the Puget Sound not only exists but has managed to evade scientific discovery or for that matter any type of discovery for well over 50 years.

And you base this BLEEF on what??

Basically on traces of it's existence.

Twenty three year old stories, plaster casts, inconclusive films, blobsquatches, butt casts, casting artifacts, bison hair, shrieks in the darkest of night, broken tree limbs and a huge dash of wishful thinking.

Yep...we're the close minded ones alright....gotcha

That just....sucks....who thought that anyone older than my 5 year old son would buy into that at all.

Of course the believers will rail against this thing and for obvious reasons....not the least of which is...because it's horrible and obviously a hoax but also and almost even more importantly...it don't look a thing like Bob...err..I mean...Patty. They have invested so much Bleef in Patty that anything that doesn't look like here has to be shot down...oh the irony (I think)

Reminds me of a hypothetical siutation I was thinking of....let's pretend Bigfeetsus really does exist but doesn't look a lick like Patty and let's say it had been filmed but shot down because it didn't look like her at all.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!

Man would I laugh a long while if that were actually true.

Yes, they appear to be granted powers of reasoning (far exceeding that of chimps and dolphins). Have they somehow figured out that we will kill them even though we do not? Why are they so scared of humans?

I don't think they are.

Cougars tend to avoid conflict, even as well-armed as they are. Animals that range singly tend to avoid situations where injury could occur. Without a group to carry them, an injury that merely reduces and ability to hunt or forage can be fatal.

Aside from reports, there's inconclusive footage that appears to show a male rocking back and forth in agitation. That's pretty typical ape behavior.
