Need help with evidence of Official Claim

Expert this and expert that.

What conclusion, that building seven looks like a CD. Let me guess, it doesn't AT ALL look like a CD?

Of course it does. All a CD does is let gravity take its course. Just because it LOOKS like CD is not evidence it is CD.

What you need is some evidence. Do you have it?

I have yet to see any examples of a pure steel building collapse on any conspiracy web pages.

Thats GREAT! Cause I haven't seen one myself. Can you point me to some so I can compare those to the ones that happened on 9-11?

The guys are right. CD uses gravity to do most of the work. Like 99 pecent of the work; GRAVITY.

Gravity kills. Check it out. Physics, you lack physics! take a course and do your own investigation.

I agree those are loud. Given unlimited resourses, do you think someone could do it a LITTLE quieter?

I'm sure if I wanted to CD building 7, I would try a quieter way. And the question was just whether it could be done quieter given proper resourses.

You mean like, with thermite?

Thermite can't be used to cut vertical beams. It is gravity driven.

Another point to consider is that in real CD's the windows are removed for obvious reasons. In WTC 7, no north side windows were broken before the collapse started.

If you think that maybe a small charge in a key location could have done the job, then you have to concede that the east penthouse collapsing through the building could have done the same thing.

Steel building collapse due to fire, the floor fell. I think the fire department fought this fire just a little water, etc.\

But you know WTC7 was not fought, WTC1,2 not fought. Fires not fought destroy buildings. Many examples but you have to use your head and be of capable of rational thought.

Make sure the other examples are of similar scale, and had similar kinetic and fire damaged applied otherwise the applicability as analogous situations is limited.

The only thing holding this building up is concrete, fire was fought.

Steel only portions fell in a few hours. Steel like butter.

Concrete core saved the total collapse plus small building compared to WTC, even 7. Plus building was to weak to keep. Fire destorys high rise. But no 2000 tnt impact enegy was involved or 10,000 gallons of jet fuel. Just fire destroyed this building forever.

But what do you really want to say, just say it. ???

Totally Collapsed 21-Story Steel Frame Office Building

Total collapse of 21-story steel frame office building. Note building standing in background. Many tall concrete structures whose designs met the requirements of the building code performed well. When the magnitude and duration of the quake are considered, the performance as a whole of the one million structures in the city was very good. Photo credit: E.V. I disagree. I see no reason why thermite could not be used to cut or weaken large steel columns, given enough of it or a suitable delivery device. This would either require thousands of pounds of thermite, or a lesser quantity used with very durable, large devices affixed to the columns. There just isn't any evidence of its use, or any reason to speculate that it might have been used. Nothing. It's a silly claim.

True, I've always thought about thermite before in context of the twin towers, which would require stealth.

As soon as you allow the remote possibility, it becomes a done deal to a Truthseeker.

heres another one in Cairo that collapsed from fire alone.

Rescue teams have pulled eight bodies from the ruins of a high-rise building which collapsed in flames in Cairo and are searching for at least six more people under the rubble, a high-level security source said today.
The 11-storey building collapsed yesterday after catching fire. Most of the dead and missing were soldiers and rescue workers who had been evacuating the building when it collapsed. Officials said the building's residents had left before it fell.
"There's still hope. We are prepared to work for days until we are absolutely certain there's no one left in the building," said the security source.

article continues

Fireman Nasser Zakari said the building had collapsed about one-and-a-half hours after a blaze broke out. He said the fire began in a plastics storeroom in the building's lower floors

Yes, it's theoretically possible, but falls to pieces when one considers how to pull it off in the real world: for the dastardly work to remain totally unseen and to leave no trace afterwards, with the added complication of not a single conspirator confessing.

Dude, C'mon. Gravy makes a point. But this whole thing about taking a remote possibility to extremes goes both ways. I have yet to see a diagram showing how the squibs are compressed air. Let's not talk about possibilities like it must be alluminum from the plane melting out the side of the towers.

See, This is not the thread for the back and forth crap. But everyone justs keeps adding in.

Why the Hell do you need a diagram for that?

What next? Do you need an diagram to show you which way things fall? Should we use a red arrow or a blue one?

Well, I don't think its fair to compare the WTC buildings with structures that weren't properly built or inspected.

Cairo Governor Abdel Raheem Shehata told Egypt's official Middle East News Agency (MENA) an order for the two-decade-old building's demolition had been issued in 1992.

Planning permission had only been granted for four of its levels. A further seven had been added illegally, he said.

Truthers seems to be under this misconceptation that the government and/or we need to be able to prove every single asinine detail, and if we can't prove every single asinine detail, the entire theory must be thrown out. The main theory has been laid out with a mountain of evidence to support it. All that is required beyond that is to show all the rest of the evidnece is consistent with the hypothesis. This particular detail (and the explosions in the basements) isn't "proven" but it is consistent. The proof lies elsewhere.

It's god of the gaps to the extreme.

Here is my challenge to you. You know the big "squib" coming from the north side of the north tower, a few floors below the collapse zone? The one that's prominently featured in Loose Change?

Measure that "squib's" speed, as accurately as you can. An average speed is fine, but I'd like you to also note if you detect the plume accelerating or decelerating from the time you first see it. A rough measurement is fine. Report your results. I have made this calculation. I will compare notes with you.

Agreed? Proceed.

Building 7. If you watch 9 or 10 videos of what a controlled demolition looks like, you can't with a straight face say that building 7 doesn't at least look like a controlled demolition. And I'm tired of people telling me that it doesn't look like one AT ALL. Of course it does. So if it does look like a CD, and I'm told it's not, I just want to know what really happened. And if five years later, noone can tell me how it happened, I guess I'm just supposed to say oh well.

Yes, it does look like a controlled demolition in the sense that it collapses more from the bottom than do the two towers. Of course, we must also ignore the collapse of the penthouses first, which is certainly an unusual feature for a controlled demolition.

And then there is the "controlled" part. The Verizon Building and 30 West Broadway suffered major damage from the collapse of WTC 7.

Let me ask you a few questions about WTC 7:

1. What significant feature of the original WTC 7 site led to the unusual design of the structure?

2. Was there any significant and unusual source of fuel for fires in WTC 7?

3. Which was closer to the twin towers, the Winter Garden or WTC 7?

And you laugh at me. Ha.

Wow, heres how you see it.
Planes hit.
Fire got hot.
Buildings fell.

Sorry, I don't see it like that.

If I'm doing an investigation, and I watch the building fall, would I see the quibs and say "oh thats nothing, maybe compressed air, don't worry"? No, wouldn't anyone say"hey, people heard explosions, and there are LARGE bursts coming out the sides of the building, maybe we should ACCOUNT for them.

But no, if I raise that question, I must be stupid.

Actually, I just don't see how it could be compressed air, a diagram would help. And I'm not saying you have to draw one, but if someone has, you could point me to a website that accurately details how it could be possible. Jeeez.
