Stop pretending to give a damn about the victim. You're a bunch of children on a crusade and looking for anything you can, regardless of its relation to actual fact, just to make your ridiculous claims seem more palatable. Well, this isn't palatable - it's disgusting.

Val M may not be litigious, but the guy KT is accusing of being a government spy and murderer apparently is. I can only hope he sees this and takes legal action.

As to KT contacting the family? I can imagine the email (he wouldn't actually try to contact them in person, naturally)... "Hi, I'm an anonymous internet creep. You don't mind if I create a fake tribute to your daughter so that I can link her death to my paranoid lunacy, do you?"
 
I'm getting worried that someone might need to inform the family so Killtown doesn't lie to them. This is ****ing disgraceful. God this irritates me. What a complete and utter scum this guy is. I'm opposed to interjecting, at all, and bothering the family with this filth. I'm fairly certain that they are aware of this kind of idiotic tripe because it's happened before, though. So maybe it won't matter.

Sadly, IMHO, no.

Whilst it would be preferable that they know just what a demented character killklown is, I would hate to see them caught in the middle of all this.

If he contacts them and gets their consent, then so be it. It doesn't take away from the fact that without the criticism here he wouldn't have even thought to have done so.

If they do not give consent then he should immediately apologise and remove the site.

But to be honest I would rather that the parents believe he acted with good intent than have them know their daughters memory was being played like a football in the 9/11 conspiracy ********.

well, I can't find direct contact information or names of her parents. YOu'll have t contact the new haven police department ( the link posted earlier in this thread based on my request) since I live on west coast, hopefully our East Coast friend can contact the police departmetn and pass that information or request on to the family.. maybe someone who is much more capable than i....

sorry, I disagree. If i was a parent, to a daughter whose case has been unsolved for 9 years, and came upon a site that had my daughters information, photo on a site geared to "teenagers with no life" (uhum..myspace) , I'd like to know why it was put there without my permission, and why the site didn't take steps to remove the profile.

The parents should be notified and the police involved as well.

Fair comment. It just sickens me to think that on top of everything else the parents would have to endure not only sicko killklown contacting them for retrospective permission, but others contacting them to warn them that a sicko is interested in their daughters murder ...... jeez it's totally ****ed up and killklown is responsible

I'm sure they can then handle the contact with the parents.

I live in Bridgeport, CT, just a stone's throw from New Haven. I could call the NHPD and ask them to contact the family re: this. I'm sure there's a detective assigned to this case. I do, however, have qualms about calling at all. Would it just serve to reopen the wounds? Is it kinder to the family to warn them of this or just let it rest?

You could leave the decision up to the police, just make them aware of the webpage.
 
I would think having Killtown calling them about his memorial would reopen the same wounds. There really is no good solution to this thing.

I think its better to contact them and let them know of these incidents, than having the family find out on their own, by doing some innocent search ; or one of their friends/relatives ask them outright "hey, did you set up a profile on myspace? My son/daughter/niece/nephew saw Suzanne's profile there".

I agree, notifying the police is enough . Let them deal with Myspace and the parents, as they are the ones who should be investigating the murder; not some two-bit bums on the net.
 
I think myspace will eventually erase it. But barring that, I think calling the New Haven police and telling them would be best. They'd notify the family, and it would be better for them to do it, then have random internet people trying to contact them, I think.

Aside from the fact that quote mining removed the context of these comments; saying that nothing was run and no excercises were run is identical. Additionally, saying that something was ... to run does not conflict with the prior two phrases. It means that something was scheduled, it does not mean that it occurred. Go reread your basic grammar book on verb tenses.
