Do not press Congress to impeach Bush until an "independent investigation" of 911 has been launched. He is the primary target of the Truth Movement. If we want an "independent investigation" into 911 we need him to remain president until it gets under way. If that investigation isn't launched by this time next year, we must all register as Republicons and vote Giuliani so we can buy more time, four more years with a figurehead directly tied to the crimes of 911 as President of this country. Ya dig?

In other words, this administration represents 911. When this administration leaves office, we lose the representatives of the crimes of that day, we lose the 911-administration, we lose steam, the movement dies. It's that simple.

Hayduke is right in one sense. When Bush and Cheney leave office, the twoofers lose their bete noire. Americans have notoriously short attention spans, and once the new President is elected, whoever it is, we'll turn our attention to them. We'll say about the Bush administration, "Thank God that's over. I feel like I've just (rule8) a pineapple."

Clearly, you haven't heard about this one:

In defending themselves against a federal government they claim is operating outside the government's jurisdiction, Ed and Elaine Brown have filed 42 motions in Concord, New Hampshire's, US District Court and had every one denied. The couple then spent three days in court last week listening to the federal government try to build an income tax case against them.

"Of course the government failed. They didn't prove a thing. There's nothing to prove. We didn't violate a statute because there is no statute, and they don't even have jurisdiction. In fact, the court is operating out of a building that New Hampshire never ceded to the federal government--as the law requires in order to have jurisdiction over anyone who has ever been tried in that court!"

But it gets worse. When Judge McAuliffe gave the Browns a draft copy of the jury instructions he planned to deliver at the end of the trial, the contents convinced Ed Brown that McAuliffe would never let him present the kind of defense he planned.

Ed Brown called me on Saturday evening and said that it was clearly pointless for them to go back into that courtroom, and they will not go. Consequently, he fully expects an armed assault by law enforcement at his home on Tuesday, which he and his friend Michael believe will result in a Waco-type scenario. Quipped Michael, "At least we'll be warm."

Ed Brown said he had one simple message for America: "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country."

Translation: "I don't want to pay my taxes, the judge won't let me use a non-legal argument in court that completely disregards the constitution, therefore I'm going to barricade myself in my home with my buddy and a cache of weapons until the government comes to forcibly remove me and is forced to kill me in the process."

With that sort of thinking, he probably could have gotten off with an insanity plea. Moderate fine and maybe some reality counseling seems better than a violent death, but, to each his own, I suppose.

If he shot at the police officers, there might be a firefight, more likely a standoff. If he continues to present a hazard to the police outside his home, they might decide to use tear gas or some other form of non-lethal force. Though, police have been known to shoot back when fired upon.

Hell, i wouldn´t even think about the issue and let the
lawyer do the bureaucratic and juridical work in the meantime.
