In any other country the fact that a president/prime minister has become an electoral liability would be reason enough to see them removed for power. The US political system is so fundamentally broken that even now most Republican incumbents don't need to fear the electorate and none of them will have the nerve to call for him to go despite the multiple ways he has shown himself unfit, incompetent and outright senile.

He's not even trying to hide his disdain for his own supporters, and it still doesn't matter to them. Saw a poll where MAGA support of the president was at 95% at the beginning of his term and now it's down to 67% which is pretty substantial. He's losing his influence and I honestly think he's so wrapped up in his own ego he can't even see it. Or if he does, doesn't care.

He doesn't care. Probably never really did. He knows, despite his blustering, that he can't run again so he really has no use for them anymore. It's why he's desperately trying to slap his name on everything and get his vanity projects built because, as he even admitted himself, nobody will do it after he's gone. And that is the one and only important thing to him right now...his legacy as he sees it.

Well to date no one has given much reason to care. Given the pathetic failure of the vaunted checks and balances I suspect there only two ways Trump leaves office; he dies or he walks away billions of dollars richer come January 2029.
 
Trump: A friend of mine, very successful guy, but he's got lockjaw, you know, he can't speak in front of crowds. He's got stage fright. Here's a guy who destroys people for a living. He's a very brilliant guy, but when he gets before like more than 10 people he can't speak. I said, what the hell goes wrong with your head? This guy is one of the most successful people probably in the world.
