Or maybe not.

A nice debunking video by a Mormon biblical scholar Dan Mackelan

26:21 "Maybe Dr Bakhtar in the last two years has been able to develop that miraculously but that seems very very implausible to me and so I suggest people chill out and not take seriously what the flat Earther and white supremacist who is posting these claims on the internet has to say and just wait until we have 1, a report with actual data that can be interrogated by experts...."

There are a lot of people who are confused as to how he is a Mormon and indeed had been employed by the church at one time.

Given he dies point out where the Book of Mormon makes no sense and where it's contradictrd by archaeology and Hebrew

It was discussed in one of Rusty's threads and I posted a debunking from a Young Earth Creationist. Even they can see through it.

Young Earth Creationists can see through this stupid ◊◊◊◊. Rusty can't...

I never thought the day would come when I'd be linking to a creationist ministry's house magazine because they have a better grasp of reality than a poster here, but strange days....

He does much the same for the bible.

There have been dozens of claims of individuals and groups discovering Noah's Ark in the last twenty years. It's alway a good one to raise money.
Not only that, but the Durupinar formation was first claimed to be Noah's Ark in 1959, a stunning 67 years ago. They've been making the same claim every few years because humans are stupid and have short memories.

When you look into it you find it's usually the same one in regards to the Turkey rock formation - they use it every so often as a dishonest fundraiser. They no more think it is Noah's ark than you or I.

Oh, so the 1987 or so version was discarded? I vaugely remember Reagan (or perhaps just Reaganites) rambling about that one while I was in Jr High or HS, one of the two, and I think it might have been old news even then (foggy memory though).

20, at least 50 there was an episode of In Search of Noah's Ark.

What claims are being debunked in the OP, is it the bits of wood on Mount Ararat? I'd like to know if it's at least interesting before I click on it.

I suspect, very foggy. I'm sure some conservative mentioned Noah's Ark in 1987.

ETA: The In Search of Noah's Ark seems to be a "Documentary" unrelated to the TV show.
