A Revolution Could Soon Be Under Way in Iran

Funny how many people forget the Iranian Regime's slaughter of 40'000 of its won citizens the past couple of years.
I think the war with Iran is a stupid, stupid, mistake, but let's not make some kind of good guy out of Iran..which is what a couple people here are clearly doing.
I love the way some people who accuse others of thinking in simplistic Black and White terms are often guilty of the same thing themselves. Politicla ideology of any flavor can be huge blinders.
I love the way some people here think that it would be ok to allow the Jihadist regime in Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon.

You have to be stupid, stupid to believe that this war was about stopping Iran from getting nuclear weapons.
If that was the goal you would have wanted the Iran Deal to stay or to make a new one (Iran offered a ton of concessions), but that was never the goal.
The attacks on the hardened facilities did not secure the enriched material, which is now no one knows where, probably out of the country.
The war was stupid, stupid in intention and execution

No, the goal was to keep Netanjahu and Trump in power indefinitely by being engaged in an endless war.

It amazing how often stupid people fall for the "Saddam has nukes" lie - or not really, since they don't believe, either, they just want an excuse to do what they want for other reasons than why they really want it.

Stop lying to yourself.

ORLY? So without the war, what was to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear bomb?
It depends on how well Trump negotiated. He is, after all, famed for his remarkable negotiation skills, is he not?

What he could presumably have done was to keep the JCPOA locked in and then argued with Iran for tougher terms on them.

Instead, he decided to withdraw, unilaterally, and therefore lost all leverage. That meant he was scrambling in crisis mode to stop the thing he precipitated, first with a strike that he said was completely successful in ending the Iranian nuclear program once and for all, and then making a liar of himself by following it up with an all out attack.

Now the master negotiator is floundering even more, and worse, nobody has any reason to trust what he says. Not the Iranians, but not the rest of the world either.

In truth, Netanjahu is upset not that Iran might build nukes, but that they haven't done so already - he has lied for decades about it.
Utterly amazing how some people love swallowing the same lie all their lives
Like all liars, he's mostly upset that his lies aren't considered gospel truths, that his preoccupations aren't everybody's priorities, and that his instructions aren't blindly obeyed.
