UK claims to have foiled 'terrorist' plot against airbase

Trump either lied, or gave away sensitive intelligence, or most likely both in the same breath.
 
My best guess: fuel thieves, caught in the act, or preparing to do so, who quickly spilled their guts to police to avoid the inevitable decades in prison or even extradiction as terrorists.

Next best guess: terrorists, casing the joint, who provided themselves with a plausible explanation if caught.

There are really only 2 scenarios. Since they were sent on bail they are not terrorists. That means they are either thieves, or it was a botched false flag attempt created by the UK, Israel or possibly Ukraine

There's been a lot of talk of diesel, but I'm surprised there's been no speculation about dodgy fertilizer. It has been used in many terrorist bombs, it provides a valid cover story & they could be moving it for bad actors "unknowingly". It was even a SL on #TheArchers!

Which is why so many police were involved, as it had a lot of the hallmarks of a terrorist attack that was being staged using stealth measures. Make a fuel bomb look like a fuel delivery. Instead, as more evidence comes out, it appears it was fuel thieves who picked the wrong place at the wrong time.

That Trump & Rubio instantly latched into the terrorist explanation, is evidence that neither is capable of considered, patient, rational, evidenced based thoughts.

Exactly. One of Rubio's main jobs seems to be damage control after Trump does that: trying to find some form of words that doesn't directly contradict the orange buffoon but still backs off from whatever madness he was blethering about. The rest of the yappy dogs just compete to agree harder with the madness. Rubio is the only one I can see with a spark of light behind his eyes.

Trump would not have released them because that would make Trump's claims look stupid. Which they were. Just like the 'vandals' of the reflecting pool, who are innocent but must be prosecuted to the limit of the law because otherwise Trump looks stupid. Other people always have to suffer to protect the dumbest ever president's ego, and that's just the way it is.
