Apollo 11 Moon Landing Revisited: Hoax ~vs~ Debunk

Citation, please. Bearing in mind, Knox remains permanently convicted of falsely blaming the African guy of rape and murder. Perverting the Course of Justice is classed as a serious crime in the UK, USA (Obstruction of Justice) and Italy (criminal calumny). This is factual and proven, and nothing whatever to do with this thread.
She was convicted of slander, not perverting the course of justice.

It includes shutter speed and the time taken to auto roll on to the next frame.
Did you read what nJay posted?
"No, it doesn’t take a Hasselbald 500/EL 50 seconds to reset the shutter and advance the film to the next frame. 1.5 seconds is more accurate."
Addressing both shutter speed and film roll. He has had it in his hand taking images have you?

There isn't a high risk of radiation contact if they stayed within Lower Earth Orbit (LEO) because they would have been largely protected by being within the Earth's atmosphere. Once you go outside of that the hazards are immense. You don't need to actually be irradiated to qualify for decontamination or cancer screening. The idea is prevention, not diagnosis.

If you still do not understand why this is an issue, this article by NASA might help.
How do you imagine that article helps anyone in this discussion?

When answering this question, please remember that I hold a PhD in Astrophysics, am a fully qualified teacher of physics, and have been teaching this stuff to high school students on a regular basis for the last decade. In other words, it's not that I don't know the answer, it's that I KNOW that you don't know how any of it actually works.

Vixen, I'm typing this very slowly in the hopes that you'll understand: you can't be decontaminated from radiation exposure.

Again, you can't be decontaminated from radiation exposure.

Once in green:

You can't be decontaminated from radiation exposure.

And once in Times New Roman, in purple:

You can't be decontaminated from radiation exposure.

What includes the shutter speed and the time taken to auto roll on to the next frame? The 1.5second figure or the 50 second figure? Also, the “shutter speed” was either 1/125s or 1/250s and is thus obviously “not included”, it’s far to short to be significant in this context, “shutter speed” being another piece of terminology you insist on using incorrectly after being correct repeatedly, and after declaring your knowledge and understanding of photography.

Undergoing decontamination procedures does not require you be contaminated by radiation.

Nope.

I explained secondary radiation to you previously at length. Obviously you don't have the brains to understand it.

Lunar surface material is not radioactive per se. It emits secondary radiation as a response to being bombarded by energetic particles: GCRs and solar protons. It does this only for as long as the primary bombardment persists. Similarly I could take a shovel full of Earth dirt to the Moon and it would also give off secondary neutrons, gamma rays, and x-rays as long as it's exposed to solar and galactic primary radiation. And it too would stop doing that as soon as I removed it from the environment where that primary radiation occurs.

Lunar surface material is not inherently radioactive. It does not become radioactive when it is exposed to the space environment. It—and many other things—emit secondary radiation as a response to being irradiated. When they are no longer irradiated, they stop giving off the secondary radiation because there's nothing to cause it.

Lunar surface material is not a radiological contaminant. Full stop.

And it was explained to you, very clearly, that that was because they were exposed to radioactive materials, which can be very harmful if any tiny bits get into your body, like if you inhale a dust sized grain, or a tiny fragment gets on your hand and then you eat something and ingest it. Being exposed to ionizing radiation is completely different.

By the way, if they were exposed to those samples as students, as you said, it's extremely unlikely that they were working with anything radioactive enough to cause any health problems, at any point in their lives.

Grenoble University has a Department of Nuclear Engineering. Clearly some students will be doing lab work in this environment otherwise they wouldn't need to decontaminate afterwards.

Look, you know perfectly well Armstrong & Aldrin had supposedly been kicking up the radioactive dust on the Moon surface, together with all kinds of highly radioactive protons and gamma rays in the Moon's immediate environment. This will have been transferred into the capsule. Claiming to have disrobed inside the capsule at splashdown and sprayed with antiseptic does nothing to mitigate this possible radioactive contamination. Further, having to remove their spacesuits without help could well mean they inhaled all kinds of dust particles in the process. So either the threat was real and they needed to properly decontaminate (whether or not there was any radiation contamination possibility) or NASA knew it was unnecessary and the squirting with Dettol for 'Moon Germs' was just a stunt for the TV cameras.
:nope:

So that would be another lie that Allen tells his audience, thanks
If that's indeed his claim, then it's indeed false. And a professional photographer would indeed know that a magazine- or roll-fed camera with an advance time of 50 seconds would be essentially unusable. I'm not personally aware of any time when Marcus Allen has claimed that the Hasselblad 500/EL had a 50-second advance time, but if he has claimed that then he is wrong.
