After pausing for over two hours, the pre-program at Freedom 250’s Independence Day celebration at Mount Rushmore has resumed.

It continues to drizzle. Within the first few moments of the first speaker's returning to the stage, thunder was audible.

Trump is still in the air, heading here.

There has been no indication that the administration has taken steps to add Trump’s face to Mount Rushmore and experts and engineers say there is no room for another figure to be added.

Trump is having a meltdown in private over the way the Taylor Swift marraigne is getting a lot more coverage then his ego trip Fourth of July, which is all about Trump rather then the history of the US.
 
So Facebook is suddenly filled up with posts from U.S. government agencies that are shamelessly and obsequiously kissing Trump's ass. Posts like this one:

That is the chance you take in puttin gon any big event in DC in the Summertime: A heatwave can be deadly, given the high summer humidity of DC I have been in DC when it gets into the high 90's, it really,really, sucks.
And, anyway, the Swift wedding is getting all the media atteantion.
