Donald says Republicans will have an “Election Integrity Army in every single State” this November

Plus Obama!

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
Palestinian Chuck Schumer is hiring Eric Holder, famous for handing guns to Mexican cartels under the Barack Hussein Obama administration, as part of a Democrat-led "Election Integrity Group" that will no doubt try to suppress Republican voters, and interfere in our Elections. Furthermore, Marc Elias, a terrible lawyer with a horrible track record, is also involved. This is the same disgusting individual who was responsible for the fake Russia dossier from a foreign nation to meddle in the 2016 Election, which I won in historic fashion. The Democrats are totally unhinged and we will not allow them to threaten the integrity of our Elections.

During my Historic Election in 2024, when I won every single Swing State, and decisively won both the Electoral and Popular votes by wide margins, the Republicans had an Election Integrity Army in every single State to preserve the sanctity of each legal vote.

We will be doing the same again in 2026, but it will be much bigger and stronger. All Americans should have their voices be heard by casting a vote. Be assured this Election will be fair! President DONALD J. TRUMP

🚨 HOLY CRAP. A new Congressional map has been drawn that shows what happens to America when districts are COMPACT, fair in shape, account for actual population, without gerrymandering

280 REPUBLICANS
156 Democrats.

A jaw-dropping GOP majority 🇺🇸

And DEMOCRATS have been cheating for decades. Not just the VRA race districts that have been abolished — but cheating the GOP out of fair seats

We MUST keep redrawing! Restore fair maps!

Just so we’re clear: Democrats want to rewrite the Virginia Constitution because the State Supreme Court rejected their unconstitutional maps.

For a party that loves to chant “No Kings,” this is VERY undemocratic.

House Democrats started the current mid-decade redistricting battle in NY before the 2024 election. Now that it’s backfired on them, they are pushing a stunning next step: nuke the judicial branch of government and pack the court!

They are anarchists now.

🚨Report: Democrats are trying to create a plan that will overturn the Virginia Supreme Court ruling that overturned their map

The plan would include lowering the mandatory retirement age for justices from 75 to 54 (or less). Therefore, that would remove every current justice on the court. Then the Democrat majority the state legislature would appoint 7 new justices and they would redraw the map to a 10D-1R map

The GOP is just mad that they didn't think of doing something similar first. Expect it would be a minimum age of 65 required to be on the court

Remember, Alabama going to the SC on redistricting is the legal process. Virginia going to the SC is subverting to rule of law.
Everyone knows that the laws do not apply equally between white people and minorities OR democrats and republicons. SCOTUS is doing their best to bring about White Supremacist rule.

Democrats want to rewrite the VA constitution because the State Supreme Court decided that voters don't matter. Everyone knows this but MAGA seems to think they can gaslight Americans.

I mean, ok. Is it such a bad idea to keep people 75 years old or older from making game changing decisions? I don't think so. I think the max age for Congress should be 65. I think 54 might be a bit of a stretch, after all they aren't firefighters, but I'd say 65.

Rathe then get into a debate about age, how about ten year terms on the Supreme Court instead of life tenure?

BREAKING: Supreme Court just vacated Alabama district court’s order requiring the state to draw a Congressional Map that has TWO Majority Black voting districts

ALABAMA JUST BECAME MORE MAGA

LIBERALS CAN’T STAND THIS

I think we'd get even more insane and contradictory rulings then, as the influx of newbies would overturn more precedents which would then be over-overturned by the next set. While the SC frequently makes crazy rulings, I think increasing the rate of justice exchange would make it even worse. It's an institution where stability matters. It's bad enough we get whiplash from presidents and Congress changing frequently.

Even if that were to take affect I still wouldn't want the people serving those 10 year terms to be >65. It's not the duration (though I am not a fan of lifetime appointments to anything), it's about the age of the person. Generally, people over a certain age romanticize the past more aggressively and hate change more and more with every passing year. I believe it has a huge impact on the way they do their jobs, not just a judge but in every position. Their interpretation of the law is stuck because everything was the best when they were younger and nowadays things are changing and they're terrible.

To me, as long as you've been a judge for about 10 years then you should qualify. Tragic made a good point, but I don't like lifelong appointments. I don't know what a good solution is, overall.

The plan i sort of liked leveled the appointment process by giving a president two nominations per term - no more, no less. That way you have an 18 year term with a rolling two year refreshment cycle. You still have to deal with death in office and a reclacitrant Senate but it's a starting point.

Well first of all, even if those 'crazy rulings' might occur more frequently, some people might find it acceptable as long as the 'crazy rulings' are going in their favor.

I mean, would it really upset anyone here if the term limits allowed a bunch of pro-choice judges on the supreme court who re-established abortion rights?

Secondly, how about this as an alternative: a 10 year term limit, with the ability of congress to extend the term by 10 years.

That way, if you have another Drunky McRapeface/Stepford Wife situation (with their "abortion is settled" lies during confirmation) they will have to worry about getting re-confirmed so will be less likely to act rashly.
