Why do I get the feeling that this "call from NATO" was really just a couple of teenagers prank-calling Trump?

"Yes, we're NATO. Which country? All of them. Yeah, we want to help with the Straight now. Really, we do. We can send you a bunch of rulers to make sure Hormuz is actually straight."

Iran said Friday it fully reopened the Strait of Hormuz to commercial vessels, but U.S. President Donald Trump said the American blockade on Iranian ships and ports “will remain in full force” until Tehran reaches a deal with the U.S., including on its nuclear program.

Seriously, you have to wonder about the intelligence of so many investors when they react positively to situations in which Trump is involved. The general rule of thumb should be "expect the worst, because that's what Trump will probably always produce".
