RDW has issued a type approval for Tesla’s driver assistance system, FSD Supervised (Full Self Driving Supervised). This driver controlled assistance system has been extensively examined and tested for more than one and a half years on our test track and on public roads.
Tesla’s driver controlled assistance system supports the driver more than other systems because, when enabled, it takes over multiple driving tasks. Using driver assistance systems correctly makes a positive contribution to road safety because the driver is supported in their driving tasks; it is a supplement to the driver. Through continuous strict monitoring of the driver in the vehicle, the system is safer than other driver assistance systems.
This is a big deal for Tesla in Europe. It gives them an edge over other auto makers whose vehicles don't have proper autonomous driving. For now only the Netherlands; later possibly admission across the entire European Union
Of course not. They're still iterating.SpaceX literally has not built a single vehicle of their lunar lander contract. No HLS, no tanker, no depot variant.
Nothing!
...It gives them an edge over other auto makers whose vehicles don't have proper autonomous driving...
FSD Supervised is an advanced driver assistance system. This means that vehicles using FSD Supervised can take over many driving tasks, but are NOT autonomous or self-driving.
No it isn't. It's an evolution of Raptor 2. Raptor 2 was a complete redesign of Raptor 1.It's a complete redesign of the engine.

Robin Hood stole back unjust taxes from a tyrannical government - not “wealth redistribution.”
Facts beat socialist revisionism every time.
European type approval for Tesla FSD in the Netherlands

Tresla sold basically nothing in the first quarter of 2025. If you sell four cars instead of one, that's a big increase in percentage terms but really not that great.Tesla sales in March are already much higher in many European countries than the same period last year:- up 315% in Germany, 203% in France, 178% in Norway, 144% in Sweden, 98% in Denmark, 89% in Belgium, 72% in the Netherlands, 32% in Italy and 25% in Spain. Tesla also grew its market share in many EU countries:- eg. from 12.1% to 27.4% in Norway, 1.6% to 3.5% in France, 3% to 4.6% in Sweden, and 4.1% to 5.3% in Denmark.
Having passed the stringent tests in the Netherlands, approval across the rest of the continent will probably follow shortly. Tesla's future in Europe is looking bright!
When are they going to stop iterating and produce something?Of course not. They're still iterating.
To be absoutely fair to the Galaxy Nazi, the concept was over a hundred years old when he "came up" with it. All he did was adding a silly name and a few trademarks to it.Yes. I think he announced the concept 11 years ago and since then everybody who's tried to develop the technology has failed and given up.
I did the maths. Apparently "current demand" is roughly 20,000 people a day (one way). That seems low.
The schedule they are contracted to. Take the date that thy were supposed to achieve stage one goals, work out the time between then and now and add "and counting" at the end.Which schedule? Elon's schedule or a realistic and practical one?

And then what would they do for a lander?Best thing NASA could do at this stage, by far, is to cut their losses and walk away from the contract Musk broke.
Has SpaceX already got one?And then what would they do for a lander?
NASA originally contracted three companies to produce the lander and I think Blue Origin is still in the running as an alternative. And then what would they do for a lander?
No. Nor have they got a depot ship to store the fuel in. Nor have they got a ship capable of taking the fuel up to the depot ship.Has SpaceX already got one?
