It is cowardice, though. We know Dump is a chicken, and we know he doesn't follow through with his threats. Heck, the nuclear threats themselves were a sign of weakness, a scared manchild overwhelmed by the situation he found himself in.

Yet another war Trump has stopped. Definitely deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for this. (The best use of the prize would be if they promised to give it to Trump if he didn't attack Iran for a year!

Personally, I think that we're lacking crucial information to call it cowardice. That would imply that he was the one who made that post and that he truly had the intention to go through with it and that those around him didn't convince him to pick a better path. Those could well be true, yes, but with how Trump and his Trump Administration works, in particular, it's totally plausible that any or none of those prerequisites are actually true.

A sign of weakness, a scared manchild overwhelmed by the situation he found himself in? That sounds far more defensible, though. He's pretty clearly that anyways, after all.

Going beyond that, though, I think that I'll offer up a simple observation. Regardless of whether there was ever intent to carry through with the threat or the outcome, the very nature of that tactic is one that is that gives limited gains in the short-term and costs us far, far more in the long term. Condemnation for playing that card as he did is the only response that he should get. Much the same as he should be condemned for starting this pointless war in the first place.

A big day for World Peace! Iran wants it to happen, they've had enough! Likewise, so has everyone else! The United States of America will be helping with the traffic buildup in the Strait of Hormuz. There will be lots of positive action! Big money will be made. Iran can start the reconstruction process. We'll be loading up with supplies of all kinds, and just "hangin' around" in order to make sure that everything goes well. I feel confident that it will. Just like we are experiencing in the U.S., this could be the Golden Age of the Middle East!!! President

Just wishing stuff doesn't make it true. The Hormuz is not The Secret. This is dolt-level fingers-crossed begging, with nation-level bribery thrown in. It's a palpable fantasy.

And here's what everyone else knows quite well: Iran is certainly not talking to you. At all. About anything. Because nobody believes or trusts Trump any further than they can throw him with their left hand.

- It's quite far out there. Space is relly deep, in terms of...depth.
