General UK politics VIII - The Last Tory

Despite being invited to appear, Nigel will not be on the panel on tonight’s Question Time, which is being aired from his own Clacton constituency.

Instead, Reform will be represented by the convicted criminal and unfaithful husband Tom Skinner.

◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ brilliant! We've finally found a way to keep the frog faced ◊◊◊◊ off the television. Relocate Broadcasing House to Clacton immediately!

Interesting as you were already booked to be in Sunderland tonight on the Reform grift tour.

Need all those £5 now the new rules on Party donations

Nigel Farage MP
@Nigel_Farage
I wasn’t able to take part in #BBCQT from Clacton tonight, as we were told MPs are not allowed to appear on the show in their own constituencies. I’m sure I’ll be back on before too long!

I'm pretty sure it's common for local MPs to appear on QT (unless the party wants to get a bigger hitter on). I could be wrong, I used to watch it religiously (ie. every week on schedule although I know it was all ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊) but the first half of Fiona Bruce's first episode had me turning off in disgust.

Well if they had just aired it from Farage's spiritual home Mar-a-Lago...

I would assume he were told by one of those same people who are always telling Donald Trump how great he is with tears in their eyes.

Probably the same person who tells him that any job that isn't grifting raises 'security concerns'.

More details have emerged of Nigel Farage's visit to Ipswich Town.

An associate of CEO Mark Ashton sent an invite to Nigel Farage
Farage was met by Marcus Nash, director of media and communications
Ashton and COO Luke Werhun had lunch with Farage
The club gifted Farage SIX 'Farage 10' shirts
Employees outside a select few were unaware of the stunt
Members of staff have made complaints

This is despite the club claiming they were 'apolitical' in a statement made on Wednesday

BBC Question Time
@bbcquestiontime
“People should be able to… enjoy a pint of beer, take their kids to the football, but they can’t”

Businessman and TV personality Tom Skinner says people have “no money” despite working “every hour”, and Labour are “smacking” businesses when they need “more support”

Expect that to be hastily edited when they realize their contradicting Farage.
You called it

BBC Question Time
@bbcquestiontime
There is a longstanding policy on Question Time not to invite MPs on in their local constituencies unless it’s for a single-issue special programme. This is why Mike Tapp MP appeared on the panel in his constituency for the immigration special in Dover.

Hey @MikeTappTweets how does it feel to be publicly corrected by the BBC in your slander of Nigel?

Today's Gammon outrage

Being repeated by all the gammon accounts
I won't give any examples of replies, you can guess them

Are you happy that white British children are being taught how to pray to Allah?

Do you know exactly what is being taught in schools??

I know of 4 schools doing just this, in my area, God knows what the UK as a whole looks like!

GET YOUR KIDS OUT NOW!!

Obvious photoshop is obvious.

It always amazes me when stuff like this is put up, given all the tools available to do a good and proper fake.

Starmer is finished

TRUMP: “I DON’T KNOW IF WE’LL BE THERE FOR THE UK ANYMORE”

Donald Trump just questioned whether the US will still be there for the UK in the future:

"We're always going to be there. Well, at least we were. I don't know about anymore, to be honest with you."

Keir Starmer has destroyed the special relationship that Britain and America have shared for decades.

Shameful. That Starmer isn't willing to stop the Iranians shooting stuff in the Strait, which Trump clearly can't do either. After the US stood by us over the Suez Crisis, too. /s

I've said it already, but the way the wind is blowing here, this could be America's Suez moment, which Trump has created by trying to do too much with too little committed to finish the job.

Restore Britain narrowly missed out at this year’s British Diversity Awards.

Devastated doesn’t cover it.

We will get our revenge by sacking every last DEI officer working in the British public sector on day one of a Restore Britain Government.

It will be a glorious afternoon

The US Navy really can't do the job. They built two separate classes of Littoral Combat Ships that were supposed to be for exactly this sort of mission and both are functionally useless. The frigates that were supposed to replace them got cancelled a few months ago. It is extremely annoying how the state of the Royal Navy keeps getting misrepresented without our wonderful MSM correcting the mistakes. Firstly yes only two of six destroyers are available for deployment because that's it works, two on station, two working up, two in refit. That is why ideally ships are always built in multiples of three. Secondly if you want more ships today you better get a time machine and go back to when Cameron was in office and tell him to start working on them, because yes it takes that long to design and build ships. We have the Type 26 and Type 31, which we are also selling to other countries but unless the USA wants to wait until 2030 they aren't going to be patrolling the Straits of Hormuz!

Not as glorious as the one where they all win cases for unfair dismissal.

Which will be a grand total of zero...
