Ed Israel/US Attacks Iran /Yet Another Country/Iran

I think bad guys are more likely to get into fights with each other. One may have caused the deaths of millions this century in various unnecessary wars, be making the population of Cuba suffer by blockading oil supplies, threatening the territorial integrity of various countries, the other may have been the cause of thousands of deaths (mostly of their own citizens) and launched attacks on no other countries.
Who are you talking about? It can't be Iran.

Trump on Iranian leaders: "They're gonna make a deal. They did something yesterday that was amazing actually. They gave us a present, and the present arrived today. It was a very big present worth a tremendous amount of money. I'm not gonna tell you what that present is but it was very significant prize."

Trump: "I hate to say this in front of these young people. But we killed all their leadership. And then they met to choose new leaders, and we killed all of them. And now we have a new group and we can easily do that. But let's see how they turn out. We have really regime change."

Trump: "If you read the papers, you'd think we're tied, you'd think we're in a tough battle. We're roaming free over Tehran. The city. Tehran. As opposed to Iran. We can do whatever we want. Today, we were gonna have the privilege of shooting down a very big electric generation plant."

How does one "shoot down" a powerplant, exactly?

I feel like that F-35 pilot whose plane was damaged by AA might disagree.

I can't believe this is our leadership. McNamara was a product of his times, and a country that believed industrial superiority would translate on the battlefield alone. Rumsfeld ignored McNamara's many failures, and double down on them.

I'd joke that Hegseth would say, "Hold my beer", but the fact is he'd just use a straw, and keep driving.
