To be fair that's because they knew the time to do so was when British state run terrorist groups started murdering innocent civilians because they were the wrong religion and were peacefully protesting for equal rights.
I don't think you know what the word 'mullah' means. It is a title like doctor. It is applied to people learned in Islam, usually those who have studied Islam at university and often having a postgraduate qualification usually in Islamic (sharia) law. Mullahs will be imams in mosques, teachers, lawyers and judges. They may be unwilling to leave their people, and I don't think the Iranian people are going to allow de-Islamicisation to occur. They could go through out the Islamic world. As previously posted there will be over a 100,000 mullahs in Iran.
The question I responded to was what would an Iranian victory look like; my response was like a Vietnamese, or Cambodian or as said an Afghanistan victory. The country bombed, devastated, poisoned, millions killed. The nation still existing.
He has said he would start with Iran's largest power plant, this is a nuclear plant. This would be a breach of the Geneva convention. Perhaps the military might refuse as it would be a war crime.

Well written and referenced article. The depressing thing is the concept that this has happened because of the incompetence of Witkoff and Kushner, and their over confidence in their technical knowledge and refusal to engage with real technical experts. I can't help being concerned that their ties with Israel biased their views and actions.
