The links to the news report in Chris_Halkides’ post quotes the Anaheim Police Dept. acknowledging that it was one of their officers and that he is being investigated for excessive violence. So, this time, not ICE, it seems.

Sure, I hope I'm wrong. But have you heard how Trump's been talking? And SCROTUS will just go along with whatever he wants.

Given Trump's continual insistence that he won states that actually voted against him in previous elections, my guess is he'll just insist that crucial seats he loses were rigged. The question is: will his toadies in Congress obediently seat the loser instead of the winner? Frankly I wouldn't put it past them.

I fully expect them to try. Probably after lawsuits are filed claiming fraud and Republican legislatures declaring results invalid for a variety of bogus reasons.

If intimidation, lawsuits, voter roll purges and actual sabotage are not enough, Johnson will just refuse to swear them in, because obviously there was a lot of irregularities with their election

Libertarians usually take the line that as long as it happens to people who don't look like us* then it's ok for the big bad state to do its thing.

*There's a near 100% match between libertarianism and racism.
