Trump's promised ICE raids have begun

Maybe. I still don't understand how the firearm appeared though. It appears that Pretti wasn't wearing a retention holster, so that weapon should've flown out during that wrestling match.
I see this has been bothering you so I took a look again. I think the gun is there the whole time but it looks like he's wearing one or two close-fitting layers of clothing over the top of it. Here he is getting tackled to the ground...

Here it is popping out as his top rides up a fraction later:

This is almost the last frame before the camera waves up at the sky. When it comes back down Pretti's been turned around by the cops, and we don't see that area again until he gets away by which point the gun is fully out.

The agents not spotting it is odd but they are right on top of him so its possible they didn't see it.

Sorry, having a hard time making anything out. The first screen-capture is the clearest, but it doesn't look like a gun to me. It's a bulge for sure though.

His license wasn't revoked simply because no one made a complaint. Had he been arrested (the right thing to do) for damage to federal property, there would have been a process by which his license could have been revoked. But since they just beat him up to teach him a lesson, there was no record of the incident and no complaint that would give rise to any such process. And no, we shouldn't take Jack Prosobiec seriously. He's just an "online agitator."
IOW, they behaved like Mussolini's Blackshirts and Hitler's brownshirts (Sturmabteilung).

That's as clear as the frame come I'm afraid and I'm not able to annotate them at the moment. I see a hard angular object bulging his cream-coloured top in the area where the grip of the gun will later 'appear'. The last two are a fraction of a second apart I think. His top has ridden up to reveal a dark shape above the belt.

Obviously I'm not proving its a gun, I'm just showing that the place where it appears there is no gun does in fact have a bulging shape under his clothes.

If the video record is true, it shows that Pretti acted with considerably more restraint regarding firearms than the ICE agents did. As far as the waistband goes, that accounts for at least one of the few times I've seen people open-carry in Utah. Not my preferred thing, personally, but to each their own.

In the American criminal justice system, crimes against property (i.e., kicking out a tail light) are vastly less serious than crimes against persons. Trying to show that Pretti was some unhinged, violent militant by showing him taking out his anger on an inanimate object when he could have just as easily allegedly opened fire with his handgun is a stretch. If he wanted to "massacre" federal agents, he passed up all his best opportunities to do so.
Now, now, JayUtah. Stop using logic and common sense as it confuses MAGA.

Sure. I still don't like the video or the alleged scenario surrounding it, especially that the iceholes either missed the firearm, or were just too lazy to do anything about it. They could easily have arrested him for damage to the vehicle . . . I dunno. But at any rate, it doesn't excuse Pretti's subsequent execution.

No, I'm not really saying anything about the justification, just trying to help with stuff that is contributing to suspicion about the video.

TURN AND BURN

Greg Bovino traveled to Mt. Rushmore to deliver a message to his men after being removed from Minneapolis, and agents being put on leave

“I want you to know: I’ve got your back, now and always—I love you, I support you, and I salute you.”

Bovino coined the term “TURN AND BURN” with his agents to describe mass deportations

“Team, behind me are a few individuals… the ORIGINAL turn and burn—the folks that helped make America.”

“But you know what? I'm very proud of what you, the MEAN GREEN MACHINE, are doing in Minneapolis right now, just like you've done it across the United States over these past tough nine months.”

“And I want you to know that YOU are the modern day equivalent of TURN AND BURN. It makes me very proud.”

Could not look more Schutzstaffel if he tried. Even to hooking his thumbs in his belt.

No more Bovino Excremento

The easiest way to carry it would be in the pouches on your tactical vest! But that would make you look like you intended to use all that ammo. Fortunately for ICE they don't wear...wait.
There are a number of holsters that allow you to carry multiple mags.

There was a news article posted here a day or two ago -- a journalist talking with veteran ICE agents. One of the agents said he'd 'heard' that after ICE agents disarmed Pretti one of them yelled, "He had a gun." Key word being 'had' But a nervous newbie recruit opened fire -- as Pretti lay face down in the street.

Take it for what it's worth.

De-escalation

BANNON ON MINNEAPOLIS: “In the fog of war (with who?), we have to hold the line. There can be no de-escalation. You don’t need to bring down the temperature — raise the temperature.”

He says more 5 year-olds need to be rounded up with their parents

This is who Trump listens to

Odd, I imagine you'd want to keep the temperature down, so the decay is slowed.

I guess it's not an achievement looking further from death than Trump, but few manage it from the other side.

Of course not, not even a little bit.

So, why did I find the video jarring? I guess I was invested in his otherwise saintly personification, nobly and calmly trying to protect and assist a woman, putting himself in harm’s way. Enhanced by his chosen profession and his supposed dedication to helping others as a VA nurse. His behavior in the video was in stark contrast to my preconceived opinion of him. Like I said, jarring. But zero relevance to his killing.

This is a big problem with the maga people. They believe in, fully embrace, the idea of killing people they don't like. You see that on their forums or Facebook pages all the time. 'Kill 'em all!' 'They should die!' 'We're better off with them dead!'

We've entered a new era and it stinks!!!
I agree, the question is what do we do about it
IMHO a individual has every right to defend himself.

I don't like the video because there's no context.

This is from a Department of Homeland Security report obtained by NBC News.

"CBP [Customs and Border Protection] personnel attempted to take Pretti into custody. Pretti resisted CBP personnel’s efforts and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, a BPA yelled, 'He’s got a gun!' multiple times," the report said. Approximately five seconds later, a Border Patrol agent and a CBP officer both fired shots at Pretti, according to the report. NBC News article link

Problem is, video shows an officer disarmed Pretti a moment before other officers opened fire, reportedly firing ten rounds. Also relevant. immediately following the shooting, Kristi Noem was claiming Pretti had approached lawmen with a firearm drawn.
